I haven’t travelled yet but I know You don’t need a Covid test if you’re fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, your final dose (not booster) of the vaccine must be taken not less than 14 days b4 travel.

Good day house ,
Please what should someone that lost his passport after PPR do? IRCC have been informed of the incident with all supporting documents that lead to the passport been stolen via the webform. There’s no response yet. The 30 days given to submit passport will lapse next week and it also seems getting a lost passport replaced is an inundated task. It might take like 3 months to get a new passport.
Will this have any effect on one’s application ? Will the application be reopened ?
Please help a brother out…

3 months?
If you’re in Lagos, you can get your passport in a week…2 at most. When did you get PPR? IRCC isn’t always so strict with the 30 day deadline. Hope you contacted them by responding to your PPR mail. That’s the fastest way.
Send a dm if this is still an issue

Hello everyone. I need some advice please.

I'm about to enter the express entry pool but I'm concerned about how to categorize my foreign work experience.

According to the immigration website, I must have continuous experience in only one occupation. This is where it gets tricky. I have a total of 5 years full-time work experience but I transitioned to tech last year and have less than one year experience in tech. My current occupation is classified as NOC A but my previous experience as NOC 0/B depending on how you view it. For now I'm using my previous experience but I'm in tech fully now and have no plans to go back.

Please if you have faced a similar challenge, let me know how you went about it. How were you able to maximize your points? Thanks!

Hi Fam, hoping someone has some valuable information regarding obtaining a driver's license in Ontario with a Nigerian license.
Tried to do some reading and searching but not quite sure if the drivers extract is still needed. Anyone with some experience with this? I'll greatly appreciate some concrete info and how to go about it.
Thanks in advance

error on their website they have refused to correct. You can combine different NOCs. One has to be 12 months or more. People have combined nysc teaching with lets say banking experience. There are many ppr posts like that on nairaland

Thank you for confirming this is still valid. Last question, any idea how to go about getting the extract from FRSC?
I've seen someone suggest an email to some FRSC addresses, I've also seen the Nigerian high commission in Canada website containing slightly different information with approximately CA$100 for application, any experience with this please?

One year continuous experience. so means at least one of them must be up to 12 months, the rest can be cut and join.

Pls carefully study page 1 especially FAQ 14.

You can use all your 5 years work experience in your profile. Known fact. HOWEVER, even if you have WE in 10 NOCs, one must be the primary NOC, which must be in a WE that has been continuous for at least a year.

Depending on your current CRS and whether you may be interested in PNPs you may want to use the old work experience NOC as primary NOC for now and edit it when your Tech role crosses the 1 yr mark, given that Tech is generally in high demand. Remember to list ALL you WE in the details.

I doubt you will be able to use the Tech NOC as primary since you don't have 1 yr continuous on it yet.

Hello House,

I have a B.Sc. and ACCA. I did my WES evaluation exactly one year ago and it came out as a single degree. Reading through this thread, I noticed someone called @Maplechick got “two or more degrees” with the same ACCA plus B.SC combo I have. I’m relatively new to Nairaland and don’t know how to reach her directly. If you see this, could you advise me? How were you able to get “two or more degrees”? Should I redo my WES evaluation?

Anyone that has ACCA can also help me. E dakun

If it's the case of "one semester", send an email to WES. They'll change the ACCA evaluation to one year
