Bola Tinubu Is A Sellable Aspirant, And Deserve to Support – Arewa Youths

A pro-Tinubu group, Arewa Youths for Tinubu/Shettima 2023, has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a candidate that is sellable and deserving of support.


The group stated this in a statement on Tuesday issued by the national vice-chairman of the group’s advisory council, Muritala Audu.

Audi insisted that Tinubu’s footprint in Lagos cannot be easily erased, rovingupdates reports.


He said; “The public show in support of the presidential candidate is premised on the fact that Asiwaju Tinubu is a sellable politician who has contributed tremendously to the growth of Nigeria.

“It is imperative that Nigerians support Tinubu’s presidential candidacy so that he can replicate Lagos State’s success stories across the country.’’

Audu noted that on Sunday, the Ogun-based Arewa youths declared support for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, and also backed the re-election bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun.

Audi explained that the group showed their support for Tinubu through a solidarity walk in the heart of Ogijo town, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun.

He stated that the walk was to create awareness on why Tinubu should be president.

He's entitled to pension 300% amount payable to governors which is a law he created by himself.
He's entitled to change of vehicles yearly and houses both in Lagos & Abuja (minimum 5 bedroom duplex).
All his domestic staff, cooks, gardeners, stewards, drivers, securities etc - are all paid by the government and are all pensionable.
He directly controls all the machinery of government in Lagos and some southwest States.
Unless there's something else that is wrong with you and your head, what else is he looking for in the Presidency?
If he had managed all the resources and States he controls very well, we should be the ones calling him to be our president.

When we talk about Tinubu we talk about his legacies, administrative capacity, temerity for positive impact. Some forces try to discredit his achievements but it's there for all to see .
I wonder what they stand to gain ? How can we see positive antecedents and go for stagnant schools of thought.

So, if for example the capital of Nigeria is moved from Abuja to Rivers state, & Tinubu becomes the governor of Abuja tomorrow, would the foolish urchins also say he built Abuja?
It's really difficult supporting Tinubu without sounding foolish.

Yes Tinubu built a new Lagos , FCT was limited to some parts of the island. Lekki of today wasn't part of the FCT yet it's the fastest growing real estates market. Tomorrow your likes will come and tell us Tinubu didn't build Eko Atlantic too , Awka isn't as developed as Ikorodu today . The tallest sky scrappers in Lagos 10 years ago were from the 70s backward . Eko Atlantic boasts of some of the tallest sky scrappers in Nigeria today . Tinubu is the father of new Lagos and all these growth was due to initiatives his administration introduced, RRS , LIRS, Eko Atlantic,
Lekki FTZ, LAMATA ( BRT , BRT lane, bus terminals,Lagride, metro line etc ) no matter how you deny it his finger prints are stamped on these programs and they are responsible for Lagos geometrical growth in the last 2 decades.
