Hello everyone, please how true is it that bidding NTB primary market have not been available or failing for a year.

The NTB account officer in First bank told me that.
She's just giving me 4.1% for 364 which I suspect is secondary market rate.

I suggest you visit another branch. 4.1% is very low compared to 8.5% from the last auction as of yesterday. You should get nothing less than 7% from the secondary market
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nakedman: 7:40pm On Aug 25, 2022
I think we might get 10% on Tbillls soon. We are at 8.5% now.

Thanks brother.
I thought as much, I went to FCMB, the mumu I met told the rate available is 4% for NTB but he will give me 7% for fixed deposit, I laughed.

But Stanbic IBTC gave the correct figure of 8.5%.

My question is, how good is Stanbic IBTC with Tbills?

Hello,

I have heard alot about Stanbic IBTC as a top quality bank but what worries me is that i don't see their branches anywhere.

Very few in lagos Nigeria.

Secondly, if I want to open an account with Stanbic IBTC, how long does it take to complete the whole process including getting an ATM card.

Thanks as I await your response.

That depends on your location. Check around you properly.
Concerning opening of an account, i have no idea how long it takes to complete the process. I believe everything should be ready at most 1week. Find a branch, walk In and make inquiry.

pls, do u know the rate for fixed deposits
fixed deposits rates depends on the amount you are investing and the tenor, typically older banks giver lower rates such as 3% pa but you would get better rates from the new generation banks.

For me, I send my withdrawal request as a mail to 'customer service @ united capital plc group .com' (remove the spaces in between the address). Then send a backup text to their WhatsApp number.
