Thanks ma’am for your input always. Do you by chance have an idea of when we would be asked to come pick up our passports? The refusal emails came just yesterday evening.

Cashmadam:

This appears simple and straightforward. The ECO obviously didn't believe your partner spends just N15,000 monthly on living expenses.

In her next application, I suggest she calculates exactly how much she spends monthly for one year and divide the figure by 12 to get her average monthly figure. That's probably what the ECO did and he/she got a figure higher than N15,000. I don't think there was any other issue so address this in the next application and I'm positive she will get the visa. Good luck!

quick question pls.
Has anyone applied for PTA in the last 1 month from FCMB, UBA or First Bank and successfully received in cash? Asking for relatives pls
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AskGod07: 11:53am On Aug 25, 2022
Eco mentioned her monthly expenses is more than what she declared, your wife should go through her 6 month bank statement to calculate how much she spends on each month.

esdajo:
Thanks for your input. Yes, I am resident in Europe and I included every single document you had mentioned regarding family ties, proof of income, a copy of my UK visa, bank statements, sponsorship letter and a cover letter. We’re thinking of reapplying and addressing the issue of her expenditure being over and beyond her income as she transfers money into her salary account from the upkeep account so as to use her ATM card to withdraw the monies. The ATM card is actually linked to her salary account which was the only account presented on her part.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AskGod07: 12:04pm On Aug 25, 2022
Better still she can stipulate with certain amount she would be spending each month for example maybe 50k each month, she can withdraw the 50k with this formula 20k, 10k, 20k each month to make a total amount of (50k) to avoid story of the gods.

If you decided to sponsor your wife for the trip you need to submit your bank account statement that shows the source of your income, along with your wife bank account statement plus sponsorship letter.

If her monthly expenses is not accurately she can declare the highest monthly expenses figure , or better still your wife can run her bank account for another 6month to correct the mistake and make sure her monthly expenses is accurate on specific amount eg (50k) more or less .

esdajo:
Exactly, thanks for the input.

Hi Everyone

Please I applied for standard Visitors Visa and Biometrics taken on the 24June 2022. I scheduled my trip for the 1st week of sept 2022.

I haven’t heard from them tho I sent out 2 paid mail….
The first I got a reply saying it’s being considered and awaiting a decision. and the second didn't get a response but I got the automated how would you rate the response given to you.

Honestly I am confused at this point…what do you suggest I do please?
Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to know if it’s necessary to discuss outflows in addition to all payments received.
This helps as I can see the emphasis is on inflows

My pleasure

One other thing, if it is possible, I suggest simplifying the account that you present to the ECO. Preferably, present both accounts and clarify her monthly expenditure as others have said.

Thank you for your response. I was able to send a stinker mail to them stating how deliberate they grey out the self service appointment date and enforcing Nigerians to make use of their added services which serves as a form of extortion and enabling fraudulent agent charging all in the name of helping with bookings. They apologised sha and assured to escalate. I refreshed the page and was lucky to see a date.

I think it's system error, keep checking, try early in the morning, 5-6.

July 29h or June 29th? Cos people like myself who did July 4th haven’t heard anything. So, I don’t think July 29th would have heard anything.
