Biometric done: May 10th
medical request: May 25th
Medical passed: May 26th
Police clearance request May 26th
Police clearance submitted for both South Africa and Nigeria: May 26th
BVl: August 4th
PPR: August 25th

Don't give up if you only received BVL, I got PPR after 21 days of receiving BVl.

I don’t understand... Nigerian schools actually over work kids.. Canadian schools will give them what they need at their age. How can a 5year old in Grade 1 be learning 8 times table... isn’t that too much? Or you mean we should not leave our kids in Canada to attend school and then enroll them in Nigerian schools? Please be sure of whatever claims you make. 50kCAD is not much... it’s actually someone’s expenses in a year or less. Where did you see someone getting rejected cos of too much funds?

When did your eligibility start?

i didnt notice, i only saw we are reviewing eligibility.

You can travel with your children ,Us Citizens can enter Canada and stay there for 6 months, if you have a study permit approval your childern will have their study permit at the point of entry.However,I am not sure of medicals.

Though i know someone who travelled with his child recently and the child did not do medicals before he left Nigeria and was also given his study permit at the poinf of entry.

How should this scenerio be handled?

Tope applied for admission through study route for Sept intake while still in Naija in April....

She also applied for PR through Express Entry/PNP and entered the pool in May.....

She got ITA and Nomination in July, and PPR in August. She landed in Canada 1week to school resumption....
COPR +Study permit

How will she adjust her status as a landed PR from an international student with a study permit? What are the processes or consequences ? Is this even possible

Answers needed to solve this puzzle!!

Please stop sending email to them for now, give them like a month, if you didn't hear from them and there is no further update on your application after a months start sending another email.

And make sure your application has exceed the processing time frame on their website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html) which is 12weeks before sending email.

PPR in less than 7weeks wow, congratulations is in order here.

If the permanent resident application is first approved, the study permit will never be approved; instead, it will be cancelled as the VO will see that PR has been approved. Therefore, the situation will only occur if the study permit is first approved.

When the person comes to the border with a temporary resident visa (TRV) and permanent resident visa (PRV)+ COPR. CBSA officer will validate the COPR, and the person will enter Canada as a permanent resident. A study permit will not be issued. Feel free to ask for clarification if my answer did not cover all questions.

How did you go about returning the money spent when asked for updated bank statement?

I did. Taking classes online will not fit into my schedule at all.

To the best of my knowledge, self (or parental) sponsorship is the best, so you can get your cousin being your sponsor to transfer the money into your account, make a deed of monetary gift of the amount sent, and some explanation to buttress the source of the lump sum along with his letter of sponsorship or a notarized affidavit of support and other personal documents relating to his business/job.

If the money cannot be sent, he can stand as your sponsor directly and you find a way to show how you guys are related either through same surname, family tree etc, along with a letter of sponsorship and a notarized affidavit of support with some other personal documents of his relating to his business/job.

2, 6 months and above is fine.

3. POF should be about 5m and above and that is excluding the required tuition fee payment.
