ucystan: I dont even understand this IRCC people. I got a Request letter on my portal yesterday asking me to upload my official work permit receipt when I didn't apply for a work permit. What I applied for is a study permit, I also indicated that my study has a co-op (last time I checked applicants don't pay for co-op work permit). I also applied alone. So where could this be coming from??
@makano @bullstriker @ketima @lekiboboe @technix @Anon123 @Gigdraft @JustMellow Hello. Please, what's the update now on this matter as my study also has a co-op? Here's what I found on IRCC's website. |

Virocrix: Good morning guys,
Please is it necessary to send email/webform concerning the expedition of my application?
I'm at the moment undergoing trainings for would-be Teaching Assistants. Resumption date is 7th of September, UOttawa. Medical passed but eligibility check yet to start.
To be candid, I submitted on the 13th of July.
Kindly let me know if it's necessary at this moment to send emails/webforms Hi Virocrix,
Since your resumption is slated for September, then I wouldn't advise you against bothering IRCC. However, you should note that your application is still within the standard IRRC's processing time. Hence, your webform might or might not be acknowledged.
Can't wait to celebrate with you!

Tgbengus151: To the best of my knowledge, self (or parental) sponsorship is the best, so you can get your cousin being your sponsor to transfer the money into your account, make a deed of monetary gift of the amount sent, and some explanation to buttress the source of the lump sum along with his letter of sponsorship or a notarized affidavit of support and other personal documents relating to his business/job.
If the money cannot be sent, he can stand as your sponsor directly and you find a way to show how you guys are related either through same surname, family tree etc, along with a letter of sponsorship and a notarized affidavit of support with some other personal documents of his relating to his business/job.
2, 6 months and above is fine.
3. POF should be about 5m and above and that is excluding the required tuition fee payment. I sincerely appreciates you coming to my aid at this point in time. If you are still waiting for your PPR, you will have it before or in the 1st week of September.. 7 Likes 1 Share |

I dont think it is possible for you to apply for form A without a valid student visa.It might just be in the system and it wont be approved. I guess it is because your visa was not attached as at when you applied You can reconfirm though. One doesn't need a valid student visa to apply for FORM A (School fees).
However, a valid visa and a return ticket are required for getting PTA before traveling. 4 Likes |

You do not require a study visa to pay tuition through FORM A. Admission Letter and Passport Data page plus other documents as the case may be will do. Average Processing time these days is about 4 weeks , it just that some banks are more responsive than others.
However for Upkeep/Maintenance Allowance you have to be in Canada to access this through form A

I sent you an email. Kindly respond quickly. PLEASE. Or kindly send me your phone number or email. I’d appreciate. God bless you Fehgur:
If your letter of acceptance has 3 starting date, they won’t defer your admission, instead they’ll ask you to reapply again. I know this because it happened to me and I had to reapply but luckily, I got another admission within a week. You can try reaching out to them for a deferral, I hope yours will be different from mine. Good luck. |

Congratulations!!! Good news everywhere, May the land of Canada favor you. Sean9014: I’m writing this to give a bit of hope to people still waiting for their PPR given that i was in the same situation few days ago. Phew! it was a long journey that began in 2017 after attempting and researching on various routes to relocate to Canada. Express entry, provincial nominee applications, coupled with IELTS tests all expired without any success. I eventually made via study route. First-time applicant, having read almost all the information about Canada study visa on here, thread to thread, page by page, morning and night. My application took 12 weeks and some days before I got medical request. Before I got the request, I decided do a medical upfront. Low and behold I got a medical request on my appointment date at the IOM office. My time-line • Biometrics: May 27, 2022 • Medical request: August 10, 2022 • Medical Passed: August 18, 2022 • BVL:25-08-2022 • PPR: 25-08-2022 Documents Submitted 1. SOP (Well-detailed 4 pages with referenced links, it took me months to finish since my application required some explanation because I had previously completed a master’s program in England. For Home ties; I wrote more about my job and returning to take over the family businesses this was also specified by my Sponsor) 2. Letter of recommendation (Work) 3. Appointment Letter 4. Confirmation of Appointment Letter 5. Pension Statement 6. Letter of Promotion 7. Salary Review Letter (2) 8. Tax Clearance (PAYE) 9. Study Leave 10. Work ID card 11. Group Photo (Work) 12. Tuition Deposit Receipt (Mind you, I only paid deposit (1500 CAD); my form A with Polaris bank for first semester tuition fee still pending after 7 weeks. I need help on this) 18. My Bank Statement (MBS) 19. Properties Valuation Reports (2) 20. Deed of Assignments 21. Pictures of Sponsors Properties 22. Tax Remittances (Sponsor’s company) 23. Sponsor’s company location on google map (Screen printed) 24. Rental agreements of Sponsors properties 25. Family Picture 26. Sponsors Passport page 27. NPC Birth certificate 28.
