That's over €300m.. but ETH felt de jong was more important, which is why dey suspended other deals 1st for his own, so they could know how much would be left of the budget.. and chose which to sign.

And they didn't think the Dejong deal had the potential of being dragged out?
And why suspend a deal? We already knew we weren't getting Nunez since even before the window. So that's Timber, Antony and Dejong left.

Antony looks like a really important transfer to us now. We're even almost bidding 100m just to sign him. That shows we're desperate. Why show this desperation towards the end of the window? While we could have even started negotiations before the window opened.

de jong was dragged out, because of your manager. I'm sure he had given assurances he will come..Antony was injured for 114 days and only came back from injury July 31st. Timber was already a done deal, until the player chickened out.. also remember, that not all players want to come..

The idea was to get dejong and a defender, and from Sale of players.. buy Antony... besides ten hag wanted to access d squad. Antony was not priority.. I mean we could have bought him and lisandro together.. ajax are d 1s misbehaving.. did we buy lisandro late in the window before dey increased price, after making a bid?
