I'm still curious as to why many Christians and pastors insist that a fellow "under the anointing" must definitely fall before they receive their healings.

This amazes me because, even in the Bible, Jesus was never crazy about anyone falling by the touch of his hands, the previous prophets before him never did either.

But today, in our pentecostal churches, failing down is now synonymous to healing.

This does not add up though, in my church for instance, a set of people especially women are more likely to fall than the others. Infact, during prayers, it is a set of people that keep falling everytime. Funny thing is, nothing really changes afterwards. They are the same in almost every facet of their lives.

So Christians, what do you think?

Only weak men fall down during deliverance or when under the anointing.

Real niggarz stand strong and starr at the pastor or prophet man to man without shaking body sad

We're all weak in the eyes of God.

CHRISTIANS DO NOT FALL DURING PRAYERS.

You may have been exposed to some IDOLATORS or some PERFORMING artists in their ACTS.

Why people fall
1) if they are possesd
When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness.
Jesus asked him, saying, “What is your name?”
And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him.
And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out
into the abyss.
Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them. Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned.
When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country.
Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the
feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demon-possessed was healed. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.
Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
2) if the Holy spirit want to take charge of any body that is not ready such person will fall.

The first person it happened to was epileptic according to history.

Since then it became a norm. If u dont fall, you'll be termed a possessed person.

It's understandable when people are possessed but imagine people who fell last week are the same who fell this week and so on, are they the only ones with demon?

When the holy spirit was introduced, nobody fell among the apostles. I do not agree with your second point.

second point is the likely reason why people that have been falling are still the one falling(i pray they donot fall inside fire) for the spirit of God will not dwell in dirty place 1 Corinthians 6:15-20. Once your body neeeded he will enter violently to pave way for himself use you then dump. Possible may be that it is the most ready soul has at the time

The verses said nothing about forceful entry of holy spirit into a body.

Like I said, when the holy spirit came after Jesus' departure, no disciple fell. There was no record of others who received the holy spirit after the disciples falling as well.

Nice talking to you tho

The "Falling under anointing" phenomenon has no connection to that which is of Jesus Christ. Instead it very closely mirrors practices observed during pagan rituals where individuals are inhabited by invoked spirits or demons instead.. undecided

1. Stop using God's name to propagate what are lies. undecided
6 While Jesus was still far away, the man saw him. He ran to Jesus and bowed down before him.
7-8 As Jesus was saying, “You evil spirit, come out of this man,” the man shouted loudly, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you in God’s name not to punish me!” - Mark 5 vs 6-8
The passage you quoted clearly states that the man voluntarily fell/bowed/kneeled before Jesus Christ, nothing to be compared to your wild craze acts in your churches. undecided

And more importantly, the bowing was to one higher in stature than himself, the Son of the Most High God, not to another human being such as himself. What is written in the Gospel according to Mark is nothing to be compared with what you lot do in your churches even if we are to assume you bow yourselves voluntarily in your "falling under the anointing" challenges. undecided

2. Again, stop lying! The one you call the Holy Spirit, is the Spirit of Jesus Christ Himself, the Spirit of Truth - John 14 vs 6 & John 14 vs 15 - 20 & John 16 vs 4 - 15 - and as Jesus Christ informed you, the Spirit of Truth would never engage in that which is contrary to that which was taught and revealed by Jesus Christ Himself during His time on earth. undecided

1. Why is it understandable when people are possessed? The possessed man in Mark 5 voluntarily knelt himself before Jesus Christ, so why do you assume possessed folks fall under your church anointings? undecided

2. The one who is the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, the same one who lived inside of Jesus Christ and is part of Jesus Christ while He was here on earth -John 14 vs 6 & John 14 vs 15 - 20 & John 16 vs 4 - 15 - so definitely, all He does and says is in accordance to that which is Jesus Christ. undecided

You seem to think you can use what are Pagan ideas to explain that which is of the Kingdom of God, don't you? undecided
24 “When an evil spirit comes out of someone, it travels through dry places, looking for a place to rest. But it finds no place to rest. So it says, ‘I will go back to the home I left.’
25 When it comes back, it finds that home all neat and clean.
26 Then the evil spirit goes out and brings back seven other spirits more evil than itself. They all go and live there, and that person has even more trouble than before.” - Luke 11 vs 24 - 26
Look carefully, to find that there is nothing forceful about the relationship above described above by Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Mark....
43 “When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it travels through dry places looking for a place to rest, but it finds none.
44 So it says, ‘I will go back to the home I left.’ When it comes back, it finds that home still empty. It is all neat and clean.
45 Then the evil spirit goes out and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself. They all go and live there, and that person has even more trouble than before. It is the same way with the evil people who live today.” - Matthew 12 vs 43 - 45
Not even in the second account of the same found in Luke. undecided

So, do you believe in Jesus Christ or do you believe instead in the accounts of your Pagan masters? undecided

grin They are not Christians, they are atheists who are still lying to themselves and have not agreed to themselves that they truly do not want God but that they want whatever they can gain from the place they go which they call church.

So, these are church going atheists and not Christians. grin
