johnstan:
Technically yes, i had to calc myself to really understand. From Googling I figured that on most occasions international students get paid below the minimum wage while on student visa and this can leave you with roughly CAD800 monthly. Remember your rent/utility bills are due monthly, you will eat and still cloth yourself, this makes it difficult to pay your tuition fees which can be a staggering 8 - 9k CAD per semester if you do the maths.
I also read that people do other cash jobs and get paid in cash in addition to their documented 20hrs per week rule (this can affect your PGwp after studies) if caught.
In all people still work and pay their fees tho it can be Hella stressful and can affect concentration in school if you always have the need to go work instead of study.
It will all be part of your success story in the end. Good luck. ok bro thankss 1 Like |

You don't need Visa to apply for FORM A except you mean Personal Travel Allowance - PTA

Please o, does IRCC work on Saturday? johnstan:
POF is your tuition fee for at least 1 yr plus your living expenses (CAD 10,000 - roughly N3.2m) for same yr.
Check your tuition fee for a yr, add your living expenses for same year and there you will have the minimum required POF.
It's advisable to show POF for at least 2yrs so the visa officer don't feel like you wouldn't have enough funds to support yourself.
Good luck. |

ciaj0: Hi, Please a family friend just got admission in Conestoga and needs to pay the tuition deposit. Please, for those that have used form A, did you generate the payment details using the Western Union pay; was that what you used for the form A? If yes, where do they need to specify the reference number given as there is provision for reference number on the firm A? Then, Western Union indicated that transaction has to be made within 3 days; so I don't know how that will be possible with form A. In summary, please how did you go about paying with form A? don’t use western union. Use flywire. |

Congratulations Sean9014: I’m writing this to give a bit of hope to people still waiting for their PPR given that i was in the same situation few days ago. Phew! it was a long journey that began in 2017 after attempting and researching on various routes to relocate to Canada. Express entry, provincial nominee applications, coupled with IELTS tests all expired without any success. I eventually made via study route. First-time applicant, having read almost all the information about Canada study visa on here, thread to thread, page by page, morning and night. My application took 12 weeks and some days before I got medical request. Before I got the request, I decided do a medical upfront. Low and behold I got a medical request on my appointment date at the IOM office. My time-line • Biometrics: May 27, 2022 • Medical request: August 10, 2022 • Medical Passed: August 18, 2022 • BVL:25-08-2022 • PPR: 25-08-2022 Documents Submitted 1. SOP (Well-detailed 4 pages with referenced links, it took me months to finish since my application required some explanation because I had previously completed a master’s program in England. For Home ties; I wrote more about my job and returning to take over the family businesses this was also specified by my Sponsor) 2. Letter of recommendation (Work) 3. Appointment Letter 4. Confirmation of Appointment Letter 5. Pension Statement 6. Letter of Promotion 7. Salary Review Letter (2) 8. Tax Clearance (PAYE) 9. Study Leave 10. Work ID card 11. Group Photo (Work) 12. Staff Award (Best Staff 2021) 13. Resume 14. Affidavit of Financial Support (Sponsor) 15. CAC Documents (Sponsor) 16. Letter of Financial Support (Sponsor) 17. Tuition Deposit Receipt (Mind you, I only paid deposit (1500 CAD); my form A with Polaris bank for first semester tuition fee still pending after 7 weeks. I need help on this) 18. My Bank Statement (MBS) 19. Properties Valuation Reports (2) 20. Deed of Assignments 21. Pictures of Sponsors Properties 22. Tax Remittances (Sponsor’s company) 23. Sponsor’s company location on google map (Screen printed) 24. Rental agreements of Sponsors properties 25. Family Picture 26. Sponsors Passport page 27. NPC Birth certificate 28. Visa pages (Travel History) 29. Masters Certificate with Transcript 30. BSC Notification of result with Transcript 31. NYSC Certificate 32. My personal Account (Money no too dey sha, I just put am) 33. No police clearance (I no get money again) It is only God who has control over times and season. I kept believing in PSALM 25 like someone mentioned on here. God Did it, to him i give the glory.
