6. Free medical care for him and members of his family for life.
7. Entitled to cooks, stewards,...Gardners, and domestic staffs, all pensionable.
8. 300% of his annual basic salary as governor every 2 years as furniture allowance
9. 100% of annual basic salary as governor as his house maintenance allowance
10. Two DSS officers, 1 female officer for his wife and eight policemen to guard him.
11. 25% of his annual basic salary for personal assistants.
12. 30% of his annual basic salary for car maintenance .
13. 20% of his annual basic salary as utilities maintenance.
14. Pensionable drivers, no limits to the number.

This is apart from what Bola TINUBU gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collections for Lagos State and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury. No wonder he boasted in 2018 of being richer than the whole of Osun state.

But see what Peter Obi collects from Anambra State since leaving office as governor:
1. No gratuity
2. No pensions
3. No houses
4. No cars
5. No allowances of any kind
6. No maintenances of any kind.
7. No PA's paid by the state.
8. No domestic staffs paid by the state.
9. No aids sponsored by the state.
10. No Shi Shi from the state not even pure water
He's still using his personal money to pay school fees for some children of the poor till date.

Now the two men want to be president.

So choose whom you know today means well for Nigeria and who will serve the people selflessly.

The question which Dele needs to be asked is...how much does alphabeta charge in those states, compared to what it charges in Tinubu's strongholds. I'm sure he will dudge this question. Every state has options among similar service providers. In Tinubu's strongholds, wherever services charge declared is what they'd embrace.

Some days ago, I was at a secondary school in Surulere (across the bridge from the Island) in Lagos for a friend's event where he is educating secondary students about the perils of peer pressure. I honestly wasn't expecting what I saw as the state of this secondary school.
It left me wondering if this was a school or a dump yard. Why in heaven's name are Nigerian leaders looking the other way while the young ones study in this sorry environment?

Alpha beta is not a revenue generating company.

They don't create revenue. They only collect what is already available.

So why are some criminals defending them here as if alpha beta is the fountain of wealth?

Every state should have its own tax collecting agency run by competent people.

If the agency is not functioning, sack the management and get people in to dogbe job.

It's crazy that a former governor with clear conflicts of interest is in charge of tax collecting in many States.

Even if you want to give a private company, there is something called ethics.

Carry out a proper bidding process and let people apply.

It is no brainer that Lagos peculiarity cannot be compare with any other states. The features of Lagos are not seen in other states and that is why must of the people that have worked with Tinubu in Lagos and had privilege of governing their own state, were they able to replicate same in those state? Capital NO.
You guys need to apply commonsense. How many state oils their people subscribe to taxing of signboard or where you park your car? If you try it in many states, you will have problem with the citizens there. Lagos is just a special state. If Tinubu has govern his state Osun, he won't have done more than what Aregbesola did there because a state like Osun that is predominantly civil servants state, to say you want to do something that will drain their meager salary, you're courting problem for yourself.

There's no ounce of common sense in your write up. Every state is different hence no one expect every state to be the same in terms of development. What's important are the ideas and innovations that you brought to government while on office.
Tinubu brought out of the box ideas ideas and innovation the Lagos State governance. Obi on the other hand was just an average Governor with nothing to write home about.
Eko Atlantic , BRT, Train, Eron, Lekki sea port and many more are all ideas that came DIRECTLY from Tinubu.

Tell us what innovative out of the box idea did Obi bring to Government while he was Governor, what and what did he do that other failed and average Governor did not do? He build roads, schools Hospitals....even the worst of the worst Governors also did all these things.
Nigeria needs more than someone who can build few roads and houses here and there. We need an innovator like Tinubu that will bring investors and brilliant ideas, programs and innovations that will stand the test of time.
