You'll need to apply to the Austrian embassy at least 15 days before your intended travel as processing time is about 2 weeks. There's no absolute guarantee that it will be approved.

Why not avoid routes requiring Transit visas?

Yeah it's always important to double-check with airlines. Some of those call agents don't really know everything.

Someone reported to have been debited in a week using UBA last week. Seems they are fast now.

I used UBA Bank during deposit in May it took less than one week but things became worst with them in delay in July and August. How sure.

Yeah they became dreaded. But someone used them last week and got debited in a week. Maybe things changed. He claimed he didn't meet anybody

Someone I know had used Catholic certificates and it was accepted.

Someone here reported the same thing.

My own judgment is that Muslim is a religion as Christian, hence, it can be accepted.

Your wife can come if you're on the student visa or skilled worker visa. If you're on PSW Visa, it's not possible.
