I recently got an unconditional offer from University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK for a masters in Applied Computing and Information Technology with Project Management. I have done My TB test at the IOM Office Abuja, and credibility interview with the school (virtually) which I passed.

I have applied to the Nigerian Trade System for me to get CBN rate for my tuition, but its over two months now, but it's still showing Reviewing stage and I am running out on the deadline as September is fast approaching, hence this post.

I will need advice on the proper channel to fast track the process or other available alternatives. But getting FX in the Parallel Market is not an option for me because I am required to pay 65% of my entire tuition before i get CAS and this amount will be very expensive getting from the Parallel Market.

Resourceful opinions on getting FX for tuition will be very much appreciated

Your best option is to network with people in the UK, to facilitate this transaction on your behalf...........

Maybe you should use your bank card.

I used my access bank visa card to make intl payments for certain certifications twice, and was charged the normal exchange rate for my transactions. I think it's around #402 or 420/$

He would have to pay them in the equivalent naira amount at black market rates unless the relationship is extremely good and personal to warrant repaying the person using CBN rate. It's the reason Kemi Onabanjo saved her tuition fees in dollars before embarking for her MBA program at INSEAD.

To future folks, save your tuition fees in dollars, preferably under pillow. Whatever you have, convert it to dollars and save.

Oh, wow! I'm not aware of the new limit. My transactions were just around 400 late last year and early this year

The money i need to pay is 10500 pounds. I can't use card. I can only do wired transfer with either telex or swift
