All they wanted is for you to show them where the baby came out from.

After my wife gave birth she had to resume work. I was working from home but had to go about to carryout errands etc with the baby.
At an ATM machine I kept my baby in car seat on the floor ( baby was sleeping) covered her from sunlight. The police and security guards accusted me that what is in the car seat. Told em my baby. They peeped and saw my cute baby and said NO!!! They cant let me go. The mother of the baby must come before they release me. I went mad!! The policeman threatened to shoot me. I was still mad. I told them my baby!! A woman from my church I never spoke or recognized but had passed by as i joined the ATM queue came forward to say she knows me and my wife. Its my baby. My wife's colleague also happened to drive to the bank with driver and househelp and came to me pleading with me to not be offended and told the police she knows me. I left the bank with my baby angrily. What nonsense. The bank no forget me next time i go there. That bank any branch i go do my werey it is like they keep record of me. Either by apologizing or .... This country you cant trust everyone

Get mad? Because the police wants to be sure an innocent, defenseless baby isn't in danger?

Nigerian policemen can be wrong most times, but they cannot be wrong all the time.
It's their noble duty to question things when something smells fishy.

A bold kidnapper could have also stolen your baby and packaged it on the mat same way but you won't have expected the police to do anything when they sense something fishy?

Nigerians need to get sense once in a while.
No be everything una go dey wail ontop.
