You are not expected to be receiving this amount per annum at the time of your nomination/application - you will be assessed for future potential to earn this much. So, your current job and position, qualifications (especially MSc and PhD), innovative talents, international recognition/awards in your field, publications etc can be evaluated to meet the threshold.

Let them take payslips out of the equation please . The payslip of the average Professor in Nigeria reeks of poverty to say the least, especially when converted to USD! Imagine a Professor with many patents, publications, and awards earning 416k/month (just about $1000 @ official exchange rate)!

Thanks for sharing info. The eligibility criteria states,

have a nominator with a national reputation in your area of talent who is:
an Australian citizen,
an Australian permanent resident,
an eligible New Zealand citizen, or
an Australian organisation

This is steep. Getting a nominator is a tough hurdle. How did you do yours?

The other hurdle I see here is getting a nominator.

It might be worth opening a new thread for this and helping 'us' with guidance on packaging this application.

For 189 visa, POF is not required.
For state sponsored 190/491, only Queensland requires POF

You can also assess as a pharmacy technician; saves the stress of KAPS

The GTI visa process has changed in the last 12 months. It’s become tighter and nomination is now mandatory which is difficult to get (although not impossible).
DHA has now switched to 189/190 again

You may want to try geegpay. They have a USD virtual card that can be used to make payment of any sort online. They have a naira and USD account.

All you have to do is create an account with them, transfer Naira into the naira account if you are in Nigeria and use the naira to fund the virtual USD card at their own rate directly which you can use to make payment of any kind.

Please do you still have this pdf file for the PTE exam. It is the main hurdle I need to overcome. I'm seriously struggling with improving my speaking score. I have taken the pte twice recently with speaking being the lowest. Travelled to Lagos twice without nailing the 20points for Superior English. Any advise or recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

If u recall some time in February I was frantic cus my husband got negative vetasses . Well we did a reassessment and got a positive … only 1 year removed .. we changed our occupation and reference letters.. Wrote PTE and we both aced it with speaking 90,90,87,85..

Now we are at the stage of EOI.. we got a lot of useful information here .. let’s definitely keep this thread alive.. it is worth it .. I felt I needed to give back incase anyone needed help.
