Having worked for the NPDC?NNPC some years back and spent most of my operations curbing oil theft / bunkering in one of their flow stations. The location I worked for producing about 20,000 barrels of crude oil per day and before the crude get to the nearest lathe unit before sending to Forcadoes for export, sometimes we find out about 10 - 15,000 barrels are lost per day These bunkers are numerous and the army / navy are their enablers and their bosses are been paid huge security contract to secure these pipelines, guess what the top military officers siphon these monies to their foreign account. sending the foot soldiers to chase these bunkers on empty stomach, and you think the foot soldiers are fools. They are the ones who give the bunkers prior information before any raid on their illegal bunkered sites.
