Small blip in his medicals. They detected Sadiq carries a knee knock currently. Well, I don't think it will hamper the deal from going through. Some cite that a similar situation happened with Isak when he first arrived.

I am not surprised at this though... the pics of his arrival at the clinic/hospital at San Sebastian for his meds show he did have a strap on his left knee.

But the focus wasn't on Sadiq's Love Sausage because that obviously isn't his. It was definitely on the report of his knee knock check. A sketchy image look showing the area of the left knee concerned.

Picked it off a rough local source on Spanish twitter using it to discuss the outcome of Sadiq's medicals on the same thread where it broke. No way his "actual" X-ray image from today's medicals made it to twitter. That's highly confidential.

But seriously speaking, I am beginning to consider moving Ndidi to CB indeed. Raphael Onyedika should in time take over the CDM role.

Ndidi's ballplaying in that CDM role is not good enough. It's bang average. It partly makes our midfield plays look disjointed.

Still under consideration for me. But ofcos, we know he will play DM when next our Super Eagles meet unless Peseiro surprises us.

Like Omanambala1, You were indeed on to something tactically on point.

I am comfortable with him "defensively" in the CDM role. His ball winning is ELITE but in the extra aspects of the role which includes Press-resistance, Ball-playing and Progressive plays involvement, my guy is not it.

2020/21 Ndidi is the best we have seen and even that version still wasn't up to par with the demands of the role in its fullness with respect to the modern game.

Since then, it has been downwards and injuries also haven't helped.
