The Top 10 Most Expensive Construction Projects In Nigeria by kporakpo: 6:42am On Sep 02, 2022
The attention to public infrastructure has been on the rise in the last 10years

Nigeria has pumped no less than $42 billion to address it infrastructural challenges. This is the highest amount spent on projects embarked upon in just about a decade and since the country’s existence.

Approximately half of the bulk of financing came from the government through initiative such as loans, tax credit schemes, bonds etc. and the other half from private investments.

These spending are also been split into different sectors with refinery, rail and roads taking the lead in the amount of money consumed so far.
The goal of the video below is to critically analyze every major piece of infrastructure embarked upon between 2012 and 2022 and comprehensively distinguishing between them their cost of constructions and current status.

So Abuja Kaduna Kano road project is more expensive than second Niger bridge but they said they had to toll second Niger bridge cause there was no money to build it. There’s no money to build it but there’s money to build a more expensive road somewhere else

...... And 2nd Niger Bridge, the only project in South East and South South region is the only one TOLLED!

JohnBullMySon:
Lagos Ibadan expressway will be tolled.
dododawa1:
What Enugu to porthacourt road
Sammy07:

Lagos Ibadan expressway will be tolled

Abeokuta Lagos expressway was tolled.

....... So only Southern roads are tolled, while more expensive roads projects in the north are not.

Let's keep enjoying one niijerria while it lasts!

The 2nd Niger bridge, Abuja kaduna kano and the lagos ibadan expressway will all be tolled according to the national tolling policy

they are all under the PIDF which receives funding from the federal government, Abacha's loot and NSIA also source for alternative funding as well

note that the bridge is not funded under a PPP initiative which usually requires a toll station to pay the money invested like the lekki ikoyi link bridge

He is not really saying the truth.
At least I am aware that they have finished Warri ajokuta railway and it’s currently in use, with the government intending to extend the tracks to Abuja.

Ph adamawa rail way was being rehabilitated but since Amaechi stopped being transport minister I haven’t heard anything about it

No reasonable project the whole of south east and south south since how many years of this government, but you will expect them not to shout marginalization, the only bridge that is taking ages to finish is being TOLLED already
I swear this government is evil!!!
How is APC going to campaign in south east and south south south
