dejijoseph: You need to be specific on what information you seek so that people that have used them can respond. Meanwhile, you can send a mail to them too to make your enquiries or call their customer care line directly which is faster. 2 Likes |

Hello. I was meant to understand that for a 1yr PGD/PGC, applying to go with my family of 5 is a red flag due to the duration of the course. I was also meant to understand that I can only qualify for 1year PGWP after a one year PGD/PGC program. This means that it would still be a red flag to apply for my family to join me in Canada at that time due to the duration of my PGWP (1yr). My questions are: 1. Does that mean I can only relocate my family to Canada when I get PR (after may be 3yrs) if I choose to go the route of a PGD/PGC? 2. How does someone with a second class lower degree take his family along to Canada using the study route? 3. Can my 10yr work experience alongside my 2:2 get me a direct Masters Degree admission in Canada? 4. Can a Canadian PGD/PGC be used to secure a Masters Degree admission into a Canadian University? |

khaleesi: This depends on what you are currently doing and what you have a passion for. A lot of folks transition to Business analyst, Srum/Agile coach, Salesforce or Quality Assurance. Some require more people skills than others to be successful in the role. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nadingo: 1. No and nobody knows unless you apply. Every case is treated differently. 2. By applying to a school and applying for visa. 3,4,5- check with schools. Only them can give you the right answer. 1 Like |

Sommie2012:I can probably help you. I have a couple of students I tutor in fundamentals of data analysis/science. There are a lot of free resources and communities you can find on the internet, but if you want dedicated service, you will likely be paying. 6 Likes |

alt3r3g0: The person I am asking for is currently a safety professional but is considering taking up training in IT. Safety seems to require certification in canada before one can get a good job, so he is considering paths that are not regulated. |

State laws differ. I stay in Lagos as well. Lagos is very strict with a lot of “skoin-skoin”. Had to go to another south-west state SlowlybtSurely: |

JosephYemsol:Na wa o. I have the greatest pity for guys like you who move to a different country like this and want to start gallivanting like they were doing back in Nigeria. Enjoy your time! I can only wish you the best and hope that you start to configure your expectations to your new reality. While doing your waka about, it is also imperative to note that some of the consequences you get away with easily in Nigeria are not so easy to get away with here. You will understand in time. 1 Like |

Looolllz... Wondaful! Well, since you have chosen to pick a specific part in my message, I won't blame you that much. I mentioned all the most likely places we can find africans, but you are not wise enough to understand the message but rather chose to act only on the context that matches your thinking level. Thanks for the advice sha. CountVersailles: 15 Likes |

This is awesome. Me too. Moving from construction to data analysis, then data science as a semi-stop. Im on the self-taught train but i have quite a number of networks helping me. There is a road path that i researched for myself, as well as people who might want to learn on their own. 1. Programming for data science with python - udacity 2. Python 3 - codecademy 3.IBM Data analyst professional certificate -coursera 4. Data visualization with tableau- coursera 5. Data science - databricks (basic basic ) Please note that all of these courses are premium (paid) So far, i v certs in just the first 2 and i v a handful knowledge of python (pandas , numpy), sql, tableau, github, and excel for analysis, well enough to get my first job (entry level). With the Will and determination, one will go places... Sommie2012: 9 Likes 3 Shares |
