Go to LG showroom, they also have gas cookers. I actually brought my mum one a few years back. Was afraid it might be a dud, but she has not complained to me about it.

What I know Scanfrost for is cookers. I have one. Bought it 5 years ago. Fantastic machine (also probably the most expensive model of a cooker in Nigeria .

But go to Scanfrost showroom and you will see kitchen appliances, electronics, even petrol generator. So they have their own oem products, and a bunch of other products they slap their name on. Products they have zero actual expertise in.

I'm not criticising scanfrost based on my experience alone. Other people complained about their products...go and read online reviews of their products in Nigeria.
Most of their new products are exclusively made for Nigeria. That means, we're their dumping ground for shitty electronics.
Aside from the top loader washing machines, a few other minor stuff, and the cooker gloriousgbola pointed out, every other product they make is full of crap.

This was the root behind her attack on Hicense though. At the end of the day, we have all had a few bad experiences with some of those brands.

I don't see it as being out of place when someone calls them out once in a while.
