Ikengawo, Anambra is not a banana Republic with useless worthless autonomous weak Kings like imo . Anambra is not just like imo, they are different, they have Kings. Imo is a cursed backward useless worthless shithole imo state where Kings are killed and kidnapped, just like what happened today in imo state. That's why Anambra has the internationally and nationally respected Kings like Obi of Onitsha, Igwe of Nnewi, Eze Uzu of Awka Eze Nri, etc

We have weak kings because we have strong people. Same with you

Owerri is more or less a glorified village littered with bad roads and filthy environment.

Uzodinma is very clueless with governance, he should go and learn work from Soludo.

This is Owerri and okada is still the major means of transportation.

Grgton:
this is not magic; it takes a working governor to build this; not just taking. Hope is actually doing something like this in most junction in O''town

Owerri is a village compare to Onitsha and Awka, these cities have flyovers, 10 lanes superhighway, etc, but Owerri doesn't have one functioning flyover. Even aba is now better than Owerri.

No part of imo state has this type of roads, bridges and flyovers.

Grgton:
Owerri has this kind of road designs in most junctions with traffic lights. Can we find such in Anambra ??l

Owerri is more or less a glorified village littered with dilapidated roads and filth. Even Aba has better roads than Owerri, that's why millions of imo indigenes are trooping to Onitsha for greener pasture. The roads I posted are all Owerri. Shameless people

Pictures: Owerri

Grgton:
can you send a picture of a traffic junction in Anambra that looks like what we just saw in kaduna I'm trying to tell you where you can find that in the entire south East, Owerri only; and you are posting dirty roads

MTN set to test 5G technology in 7 Nigerian cities

MTN Nigeria Communications has finally kicked off an open pilot of its highly anticipated 5G technology in seven Nigerian cities.

The company yesterday, revealed it has picked seven cities which include Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Owerri, and Maiduguri, as locations where it intends to test the next-generation network infrastructure.

I just say let me remind my Imo people that the BIGGEST POULTRY FARM in Nigeria is currently in Imo State and is consistently being upgraded by phases.

There's about 2 in Anambra, now we have another gigantic one in Imo, if we keep this up we won't starve again in the event of any crisis. Achieving food sufficiency in AlaIgbo (SE/SS) is key!!

Let's do well to bring our investments home. AlaIgbo is the only place we can call home, anywhere else that's not Alaigbo, we are simply strangers no matter how much you might have contributed there.

This is why I am very annoyed when sensible Igbos go online and support the activities of IPOB and ESN. Imo/Oweri was booming and growing when there was peace, now investors are scared.

The last time Cubana Chief Priest that has brought investments to the state was almost a victim. Now do you think people like Davido would want to come to Owerri again?

Let's support the government to flush ESN out of their hideout. Insecurity benefits no one.

Any grievance can be sorted out properly without violence. That's how sane and civilised people behave, that's how our forefathers behaved.

Okay. Thanks for the brief. But I am actually referring to SE in general. As far as he was attacked in AlaIgbio (SE/SS), it's not a good thing.

With the way Owerri is going, I am sure it will be the first City in the SE to break the highrise/skyscrapper jinx.

This two spot will be good for a CBD and entertainment hub.

The Rockview Area for CBD

The Rento Area for Entertainment hub

By the way what arer they building at that Rento Area. It looks like a highrise in the making.

I feel so sad that dust could cover half the road on Bank road leading to Government house and the Governor drives past it daily. Something should be done ASAP.

I get annoyed seeing dust on roads. I mean how much does sweeping cost for god's sake?!

I was disgusted seeing that dust too. A very wide road now looks narrow and untidy because it can't be swept regularly. SMH.

Owerri is probably the only city in SE that can rival P.H in no distant time. The city has an exotic feel, the type you experience in places like Abuja and P.H.

Owerri is actually underrated. The city has made significant leap in development in recent times based on private sector investments. Owerri used to be behind cities like Calabar and Enugu but not anymore. Owerri also has a night life you can hardly find anywhere else in Nigeria.
