Is My Proof Of Fund For Visa Still Necessary? by Mtschewwww: 1:29am On Sep 05, 2022 |
Good day everyone. I applied for a visit visa for a conference in Canada. The company where I work has already approved a leave letter for me and my colleagues which they intend to send to the Canadian embassy via email. The company is also showing her bank statement as a proof of fund that we are being sponsored for the trip. The question is: Is there need for us to send our individual statements of account as a support document? (Though my POF is not much) Some persons are of the view that since the company is providing Proof of fund, that there is no need for our individual bank statement. Others maintained that there is still need for our individual proof of fund to increase our chances of securing the visa. Please what are your opinions and views? Thank you! |

Mtschewwww:your individual proof of funds is required. If your not well established in Nigeria you are likely to japa from your hotel na. Yemi alade and crew were denied visa to canada this year as they didn’t provide individual proof of funds for her crew members. If the conference is also close by they may not process the visit visa in time. Lots of backlog 2 Likes |

justwise:1. The conference is related to my current job. 2. I paid for the conference. 3. I didn't or haven't book hotel yet. 4. My budget is about 1.8M - 2M |
Re: Is My Proof Of Fund For Visa Still Necessary? by justwise(m): 2:14pm On Sep 06, 2022 |
justwise: You need to submit your salary account, 3-6months payslips , letter to explain why you are attending the conference and the benefits to your career progression. Limit your budget to about 2months of your salary. You can also submit your landed documents and your employment letter. All these will act as your ties to Nigeria |
