Abeg o, what’s the best route to reach Londonderry from Lagos, Nigeria?

Good afternoon everyone,

If someone opts for self upload instead of the assisted service at TLS, would it make any difference if one uploads all the documents in support, including bank statements 3 weeks prior to biometric submission or MUST one necessarily wait until a few days to biometric submission before uploading those documents, most especially the bank statements to show availability of funds for the propsed trip? Please, advise.

In response to your question, I don't think it matters.

However, I would delay uploading my bank statements if I knew that my next monthly salary would arrive a few days before the biometrics.

After my salary has been deposited into my account, I will upload my bank statements to show recent transactions.

And assuming ur salary comes late? Especially if you are an FG worker ..

I think u can upload because they are looking at 6 months trail and u might not even be viewed for another one month... dicey but..

Go through this nairaland forum you will see that majority of applicants wait close to 7 weeks or over. Only a few lucky ones get it within 1 month.

Please, one of my in-laws got a job in UK...did her biometric with her dependants, husband and child, on the 7th of July...

The visa and passport of the dependants (husband and child) came out about three weeks ago..

Till now, the main applicant passport is not out.

According to her, she has sent paid mails, paid calls , visited TLS Ikeja severally and visited L.Island UK office..yet, nothing is happening.

Please, whatelse can be done?

The dependants cannot travel without the main applicant and their visa will enter 3months October ending.

Advise please.

My Mum application is 9weeks , did biometrics on 8th july. When tracked its showing at DMC , i have made paid mail and they escalated and then paid calls they escalated as well, really tired of waiting . V I lagos centre

Some that did July 7 have collected their visas while others are still waiting....

Thanks for your contribution. I am a businessman and not a salary earner, so transactions are always going on in my accounts regardless of what time of the month it is. Also, I am acting as a sponsor for a family trip and March through August is already 6 months and I was just wondering if uploading the bank statements as it is now will have any negative effect since the biometrics is in 3 weeks time.

You can upload it now or wait a few days before the biometrics to upload it. Either way is fine.

I don’t think uploading it now or later will have any negative effects on your application.

your POF is for your studies in the UK.

Same happened to me
Main applicant passport came exactly 3 weeks
And dependent came 6 weeks later making it 9weeks for dependent visa.

Just get prepared
So once they send yours,you can leave before October ending.

You have to registered online with Ecctis with the 3 documents you mentioned and pay £140.60 They will send you the required certificate it’s a seamless process

Leave the money there until your visa is approved.... Also when traveling make sure you have your maintenance fee to show the border police... My 2cent ✌️✌️

That's nice. Any further update? I think this looks promising considering you have not received refusal email.

Application process took a month.

Thought refusal of 2009 won’t be considered cos of the time and totally ignored to fill it in application.
Hope this is not a ban?

And there is another application, biometrics yet to be done, there was a refusal on that in 2006 and 2yrs visa approval in 2009. This refusal is not stated in the submitted application, should the person cancel and submit another application stating the 2006 refusal.

I did my biometric on the 29th June. Received a refusal on 29th august because I had large amount deposit in my account. Does anyone know when I can pick up my passport? I want to travel elsewhere by the end of September and I need to arrange somethings. Advice me please.

Have you checked your junk mail etc for notification to collect passport? You can also consider going to their office to request for your passport, except you paid for delivery service.
