it is normal, if tomato perform well at 5-6k per crate is okay, June-july is just peak.

I have tried linking up with tomatoes farmers in the south east or Anambra to be precise but to no avail, but I am sure there are many south east tomatoes farmers here but they will rather keep quiet than talk. I remember when I commence my journey into rice farming 2 years ago...I documented every bit of my journey like you did on nairaland. That thread alone have saved alot of people millions of naira, either from fraudulent farmer managers or from the so called e farmers. Those that their farms are only on the internet with no physical location. Some people from nairaland even came to visit my farm to learn a few things about rice farming. I intend to delving into tomatoes, pepper and garden egg. I will surely run to your thread to apply all that you have taught when I eventually start. Stay winning bro...

Looking at the picture of below I can conveniently count about 35 fruits per plant yet you said this particular ones don't fruits enough because of rain. How many fruits do you normally observe per plant assuming in dry season or if rain doesn't disturb sir?

I understand your questions perfectly, am not saying this particular one perform bad or woeful,it just normal/fair. You too look at the previous one after like third harvest, and this one am yet to starting harvesting. To be fair! If you can get 25-28 fruit per stand you have tried, though 40 and above is possible. Don't except much from any open field tomato transplant from nov-feb in south west, results is always

smile at pro ... you can sey am not a novice but am far from pro >: . One of my oga has like 25-30 workers, at once sometimes he harvest like 250-150 crate, yet looking to improve more every season. My role model that has over 1000 hectare established Palm plantation still going for training.
