My visa has been granted today. I submitted visa application on June 23rd Torrens University Self Sponsored Visa was granted today Sep. 2nd No calls or emails from AHC I had 2 USA Visa refusals and I declared that in my application. I submitted no fake documents whatsoever neither did I lie about anything.. I only observed that they emailed one of the issuers of the Letter of Recommendation I submitted to confirm the authenticity of the letter. I knew this because the person that issued the letter called me before replying AHC. Not more than one hour after they received confirmation email from him.. My visa was granted. Let this be an inspiration to someone else. 10 Likes |

Thank you so much for this. You are correct, we found out recently there was a refusal in Dec. 2020 but the agent kept it from us because he summited a wrong statement of account. He replied 3 times in 2022 which states invalid application because necessary documents where not submitted. I was down but better now. Don't know who to tryst anymore. My IELTS is expired have to go through the stress of rewriting, giving up is not an option for me though. I really need an agent I can trust to assist with admission and Visa application. Thank you AKASBABA1: |

Greetings all. For those who got admission recently without agents, please kindly recommend the university that gave you offers. Am not in Naija at the moment. The agent in my location needed me to use agent in Naija. Please kindly recommend Universities for direct application for Masters Programs Coursework. Thank you all 1 Like |

Hello Family, I have a question please. I just passed my GTE assessment this morning from Torrens and I was asked to make my tuition payment. Now the issue is that my course semester session (T3) starts next week and I can’t possibly meet up. I’m thinking of deferring to next month with is another semester session (T4). Would I be asked to submit another round of documents for the deferral. Am I going to go through another round of hassle even if I’ve made payment for tuition Please I need every possible answer from anyone that has any idea about it or gone through the same process. |

Jemiimaa99: Depending on the school. Some give you the option of arranging one for you. For about 1k to 1k2. Usually paid when you pay the tution deposit 1 Like |

You have 2 options. 1. Make tuition deposit, get your COE and enrol online…then log your visa application. 2. Defer your admission, get a new offer and pass GTE for COE, then apply for visa. Regards, Jemiimaa99: 1 Like |

I also applied too waiting for GTE assessment for over one month now. Checked the status on my portal.. Pending GTE assessment Good afternoon. Please are you done with your GTE now? I just want to know how long it took to get your unconditional offer. I’ve submitted all GTE documents but haven’t gotten a response for 3weeks now. Cheers![/quote] 1 Like |

Hi everyone...I'm new here and need advice urgently. I recently graduated from my masters degree study in computer science and technology in China this year and I'm trying to apply to study in Australia. I was informed by one agency in Nigeria that I only have the option of doing a PhD available to me (that I won't be able to get any other masters study opportunities). Does anyone know if this information is true and also if I'm to go through the PhD route, how am I supposed to do that? Do I have to get a supervisor first before applying to any school? Please I'll be grateful for any little help I can get here...Thanks |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by afam4life(m): 2:56pm On Sep 07, 2022 |
s7ven: First and foremost, don't rely much on agency. If you have to use agency, tell him or her what you want and make sure that you monitor everything till you gets your visa. Secondly, You can apply for masters degree, if you want to and if you meet the school requirements. Finally, If you choose the PHD route, you will needs a supervisor. It is also a good thing for you going through the PHD route. But you have to follow your mind and act. Shalom! 3 Likes |

Greetings house. My spouse is a PhD student in Melbourne (on fully funded scholarship). We could not go together because we were not able to pay for family OSHC . Note :We are a family of three (husband, wife and a two year old daughter) My question is this: 1. Can we pay our OSHC from the savings she has gotten in Australia without we being required to show an Australian prove of fund. 2. Or if it's possible to show a prove of fund from our joint account in Nigeria as the money we have presently in Australia can only pay our OSHC. Thanks |

For people that have gotten their visa and deferred to February admission, information reaching me is that you have to travel 90 days before resumption date. I heard a guy was turned back to Nigeria from Doha. Does anyone have information regarding this ? |

Hello family, If I'm applying for studying visa in Australia, is it possible for my spouse and children to leave for Australia at the same time? Or will they come to join me later after some time? I'm getting conflicting information about this. 1 Like 1 Share |
