Bonny is just a normal town in Rivers state, although it generates a lot of revenue, PH not Bonny is the capital of Rivers, also Bonny is an Island that have not seem much connection to the mainland (PH) you can't compare bonny to Lagos, a whole state to a humble town just being overtly exploited.

You could compare Bonny to some part of Lagos but not Lagos state, it is even unfair to compare Rivers to Lagos, talk more of Bonny to Lagos

all these unnecessary taxation and worry is part of reason they don’t attract investments and multinationals are scared of investing in the state.

but actually lagos does it too, omo nile. yet draws investments.

i think it’s mainly due to population, functional seaport, and high literacy rate (plenty educated men and women available for employment). this three factors to me is why it’s desired over ph (lagos port is more functional, lagos also has more number of educated men and women for workforce), kano has the population, little educated men and women, their population are mainly hordes of barbarians and illiterates, no seaport)


this concludes my reason why lagos has high investment drive.
