I feel it needs to be said Sergi Roberto has been excellent since his return.

Regardless of the assist, the inverted role suits him & is first & foremost extremely useful to Barça's setup.

Brings compactness, supports our right-wingers & gets the best out of his profile. Xavi choosing to renew him has shown that he's that kind of play that any of our incoming right-backs has to be, except that they need to be defensively aware.

It's just stupid.
In La Liga, no Barca player has more assists than Dembele, as good as Raphinha is, Dembele is far better than him. If not that Vinicius jnr has good positioning for goals, since January Dembele has been better than him and all other wingers in La Liga and it's not even close. The only wingers in European football that are better than Dembele are those that score with more frequency than he does but in everything else, Dembele is right at the top. Man is among the top assists providers in Europe this year. Man's been absolutely brilliant. Some Barca fans are just daft. If you want to criticize a player, criticize him when he does badly and praise him when he does well. That's simple sense and it should not be too difficult. The only player in all UCL matches this week that was better than Dembele was Lewandoski and that's because Lewandoski scored a brilliant hattrick but in complete balling nobody matched Dembele but fanbase are here ranting. This season there is no Barca player that you can criticize unless you factor in some other issues.
Fati is still coming back from injury and so he should be borne with. Same with Ferran these two players are quite similar but for them to play very well they need to be fit and confident that's when most of their work is best appreciated.
Araujo is the only player I can really criticize but he is still a work in progress and he will only get better provided injuries don't hamper his development.
Gavi is an excellent baller.

Alcaraz on his part, finally exorcised the demon. Never won Jannick Sinner in there last 3 or 4 matches.

Was an excellent match for neutral. Lasted over 5 hours but I wanted Sinner in the semifinals to face Tiafoe.

Ansu Fati is always in hurry to score. Reason he's a very good, natural goalscorer.

I also agree with you. Maybe, he's feeling abit under pressure to score, since we now boast lots of forwards. But I like how Xavi is managing him. Give him minutes in bits and pieces. He needs his full confidence back.

Dembele is always clueless and looks average during big, crucial matches.

The first real test to our strength and progress comes against Bayern on Tuesday.

Alcaraz recently lost two finals.

Though, Khashanov has been playing unbelievably well. Dealt with the unpredictable Nick Krygios in the quarters. He's not a pushover. And he has the best serve of all the players remaining on tour. Dude hit over 40 aces against Nick. Also got the best backhand

Ability to hit ace and get yourself some easy pionts, can be very crucial at this stage.

Alcaraz can hustle and can be very aggressive in rallies but players like Khashanov or Nick will never give you plenty opportunities to hustle.

Casper Ruud does not have great serve but very excellent hitter with his excellent forehands and aggressiveness, just like Alcaraz.

If Khashanov reaches finals, he's winning it.

If Alcaraz reaches finals he's NW1 regardless of whether or not he wins it.
