Pls Duchess,am at a crossroad .so when I was filling the application ,under partner/spouse I was asked if my partner will be going with me I said yes,I imputed his details.
Then in another section the asked if people are depending on me financially and if I will be going with them,d mentioned children below 18yrs and old relatives and I said No becoz I didn’t see any partner or spouse option.
So after filling everything,I was redirected to pay my IHS fee,the stated I don’t have any dependents.pls is that right?
because I am applying and travelling with my spouse.

There is fee difference of about 4k. Buckingham is higher compare to shiefield hallam.

Buckingham is closer to London.

Oh Okay. The student copy of the transcript is usually enough. I can't say why they're asking for anything else. Again, communicate with the school about these requirements.

This is correct. Proceed and pay for your IHS once you've confirmed that the information you submitted thus far is correct. Your spouse will pay for their IHS separately.

Issuing of transcripts has nothing to do with ASUU as it's handled by non-academic staff and as far as I know, they are not on strike.

Good day everyone @dduchess please I really need your candid advice,my wife have applied for enough school for January intake ,she had an unconditional offer from Greenwich university,conditional offer from teeside university,we were asked to pay deposit of 4000 before we can get unconditional offer,and she also got unconditional offer from dmu for September ans Bristol but due to Nigeria immigration wahala she lost the offer..so agent in Nigeria said we should wait for 4 to 8 weeks for January deferal letter..Am so confused right now please should we go ahead and pay or wait for more options? Cause the Teeside is a conditional offer..please I need your candid advice .@duchess and other gurus ..She still has like 10 or more other applications waiting for reply

Since we are yet to have a thread where people can share their POE stories, I thought to share mine here.

The MA is my hubby and we travelled with our kids. We arrived yesterday, at London Gatwick and Our Entry Clearance officer is a British Lady.

She asked hubby questions such as
1. Why are you here?
2. Name of school and course?
3. What were you doing before you came here?
4. Are you being sponsored financially by anyone ( this was a trick question obviously)
5. Have you been to the UK before?

She asked our 5 year old daughter to confirm her name while she was looking at her passport. She was unable to get our 8 year old son’s details from the fingerprint scanner so she entered his passport number in her computer to confirm his picture matches his face. ( This shows that they do not joke with records)

She also asked my children to confirm my husband and I are their parents.

She didn’t ask to see our bank statements or TB certificates but while we were waiting on the queue, I saw other Officers requesting those documents from other people.

My advise is that you come along with all the necessary documents as it’s best to be over prepared and not need the documents than be under prepared and then need the documents.

Once again, good luck everyone and May the land of UK favour us all in Jesus name, Amen.

Please I have an issue that has been bothering me for a while now.

My school fees balance + POF is 19,057 pounds, my visa application date was August 21st and the OANDA rate on the 21st was approximately 496.4. If I calculate the naira equivalent using the visa application date, my POF should be N9,460,905.

I have about N9,800,000 in my account right now but I'm worried because I had 10, 200,000 before CAS was issued but I had some challenges that needed to be sorted out and I had no other way to source for funds, now the school said I should also add extra money to my account to account for currency fluctuation.

My biometrics is on Monday and I would be glad if these few questions can be answered here.

@dduchess thanks for the reply.No we don’t use Agent the DMU school refer her to an Anget in Nigeria ..so it was the Dmu that was defer to January cause we couldn’t meet up for September 2022 .So he defer the admission to Jan 2023,so he told us to wait 4 to 8 weeks for new unconditional letter for Dmu…thank you so much we will wait for other options
