I won't give you the attention you seek until you stop your erroneous conclusion about my region/tribe.

You believe you're more Yoruba than I am because I am against the presidential ambition of another Yoruba man? That's quite pathetic. I don't do your typical local politics, please. I will suggest you take your message to Oshodi park or Ojota new garage. You will get your bloc votes from there.

Local government allocation is 2/3 of every state allocation. How did you expect a state to function like other states when 2/3 of its allocation was withheld?

Even Osinbajo recently talked about it.

He didn't! Even Osinbajo recently mentioned it.

Lagos' allocation was withheld from 2004-2007.

How was it illegal? Lagos' apapa seaport for example which is Lagos resources and the infrastructure built by Southwest resources before the amalgamation of Nigeria yet pumps revenues to the federal government at large.. shouldn't they be earning more from the FG?

Anyway, Tinubu ensured the lcda thrived..

Good. I am solidly against Tinubu's presidency because he is the worst of 10 presidential candidates I have evaluated so far. If you're against Obi's presidency for whatever reasons, I will advise you to create a new thread with regards to Peter Obi's loans and his savings.

Make sure you mention both the debts and savings so people can form their objective views. Good luck.

You didn't read the full. The article said over 100b and not 100b. Also not only 20b was left for the incoming governor. Guardian stated that Tinubu left up to 85b when he left. Not to mention the high revenue growth rate of Lagos at the time Tinubu left.

What do you mean by high revenue growth rate
Lagos was generating only 6bn by the time Tinubu left office
There was nothing spectacular about that figure then

You have one vote just like I do. I need not open threads, just here to counter every act of hypocrisy. As much as Tinubu isn't a saint just like every other candidates including Obi, we shouldn't act blind in our assessment. Thank God for the internet.

I'm more interested in the election come 2023 and not opening of threads. Threads don't win elections, voting does.

Good luck boss

They can't f00l the people, all the time. Tinubu is obviously banking on illiterates to win the election, people who are deprived of basic information, including those that are freely available on the internet.

It is on record that Tinubu, Fashola, and now Sanwo-Olu sought foreign debts and bonds to "build" Lagos. It is also on record that Ambode borrowed NOTHING and he did so much in 4 years.

Sanwo-Olu under 3 years already borrowed N85 billion at a time Lagos state had the highest surge in internally generated revenue.
Up till now you people don't know how money works.

Dangote's networth is $25 billion and his refinery is $19 billion. Why then did he borrowed a meagre $442 million for his refinery? Why not just sell some of his shares to build the refinery instead of borrowing?

Net worth is the sum of assets. Do you expect him to sell Dangote Cement and Dangote Sugar to build a refinery?

It would be interesting to have this conversation when you're done grasping the meaning of net worth.

Lagos pays the income of salary earners and pension regularly even at the time Obasanjo withheld Lagos allocation for several years. Go face your Governor if he's not paying your salary and pension. Tinubu didn't rule you or your papa

I won't allow you derail the thread unnecessarily. This thread is about Tinubu's loans. When Tinubu took this loan, you were running around your neighborhood on pampers. Over 16 years after, you still don't care what he did with the loans that you and your generations will keep paying.

16 years later Lagos economy is bigger than all the SE states put together, that is what matters. Lagos IGR in 2015 was close to 300 billion naira. Currently more than 45 billion a month, chew on that.

It was Lagos IGR and not Lagos economy. An illiterate like you thinks generating IGR means improving the economy.
It was 1.2bn when he took office and he left it at 6bn. You his urchins then go ahead to attribute the explosion in IGR under fasola and ambode to his "vision".
Keep quiet. You who lives in Odo Otin. How will you know what Lekki, Ajah, Banana Island looked like in 1999. Chevon estate and VGC are in Lekki phase 2 and they were already existing before Tinubu took office.

Lastly, Tinubu ruled you and your papa yet you ended up a nairaland urchin. Fuçk off
