May her soul rest in peace. May her demise also signal a new era birthed in Nigeria jettisoning the relics of colonialism and the colonial mentality from Nigeria. Long live the King. 75 Likes 11 Shares |

Mumu leaders. Honouring someone who was of no benefit to Nigeria Rather She and her ancestors played a part directly or indirectly in looting our resources and destroying our culture. Till now our cultural artifacts are still in British museums and the money generated from their display was what was used to maintain this thieving monarchy. May her soul rest in pieces. 115 Likes 6 Shares |

Why? I don’t think this is necessary. Can’t remember england flying their mast at half flag when yar’adua died o. Not to compare both, but he was our president, same way she was their queen. Well, just my thoughts though 45 Likes 1 Share |

Respecting the Queen is okay, may her soul rest in peace. Nigeria To Fly Flags At Half-mast won't change the bad leaders in Nigeria but let the truth be told England doesn't love even a common Nigerian, try going to England then you will realize the much hatred those white have over us. A Cameroonian going to France is much loved, why so? #QueenNeverLovedUs #RestWellQueen 18 Likes |

A lot of people still think it was the QUEEN that colonized Africa... She didnt go for any exploration or conquest. She was only the custodian of her royal heritage.. The same way we have Obas, Ezes, Obis, Seriki, etc here in Nigeria. They have misguided their hatred to the queen who was never a part of decision-making processes in Nigeria since after our independence. Nobody is talking about our royal fathers who sold their citizens to slavery for umbrellas, cowries, colorful beads, salt etc. 37 Likes 4 Shares |
