Pls do I need an affidavit, Emmanuel was spelt as Emman on SSCE certificate (I was told then that WAEC only has 25 character) though correct on degree. I have never had any issue with it even the Uni has given me CAS already.
But considering this as one of the schools I applied to demanded for a proof that the same person bears the two name.
I now see and start thinking if I should do an affidavit and upload same when applying for visa.

Your TB test result is valid anywhere and can be used for any UK visa application from any location.

Duchess was really helpful.In a similar position. If it was one stop ie Istanbul alone, you don’t need a transit visa. However, since you are connecting from one airport to another, you need one. That’s the info from Turkish airlines. I wonder why they still offer these connecting flights knowing their restrictions. Options are to change to only Istanbul lay over or cancel the flight.

I'm not yet in UK so take whatever I have to say with a pinch of salt.
I would suggest you check for other criteria aside proximity to London. While studying, it's best you're in a situation that puts you in less financial stress as much as possible.
So consider;
Cost of accomodation and living expense in both cities
Flexible university payment plan
Availability of student jobs within the city.

If you plan studying in Buckingham and working in London, won't you be paying for your transport?

Anyways, I will like to know if you're in for January intake at Sheffield Hallam as I applied as well but yet to get a decision.

You'll need a transit visa in Dublin unless it's a technical layover there( which means refuelling or dropping off some passengers without you leaving the aircraft)

Tracker changes from DMC to VAC even on Sunday evening, so the answer is yes! But then pls don't waste your anxiety even midweek, not just weekend. You got my attention with that though. �

If you check it thru, the whole process is overwhelmed, standards are still around Aug.11/12 even up till date, Aug13 people are still awaiting result both in Lagos and Abuja.

Somehow, it will seem no need for paid call/mail, cos they'll just send in NSF to buy time and put the pressure back to your desk, and it can in fact lead to more "diggings" (my observation).

So be your own tracker, monitor "visa alert" notes here, you'll know when to say EMILOKAN! Smiles.

All that needs to be done is an early mail to your school to notify them of your visa delay..most schools have 2weeks window into resumption and like someone said here UKVI is aware of school dates.

Before you bother, watch out for when "visa alert" bio dates get close to yours. Till today, I'm yet to see a standard of Aug.13 here or anywhere else celebrating visa alert! So Bro, e lo fokan bale!
