I ask because Christian's are very fond of mentioning dead people and then I still hear about not mentioning a dead person's name , even in schools we are taught names of dead people and their lives , so is it only prohibited when you have something negative to say about that person and you're allowed to do it ,if you want to praise them, it's very confusing

I think it's very biased , you want to tell me that when Osama was killed people just kept shut and typed RIP with sad emojis or lit candles , alot of people expressed their relief verbally and he was someone's father and husband , they probably saw him as a sweetheart too , but it is wrong when its about a socially accepted public figure , isn't that just hypocritical?

I actually had a bully in highschool that passed away few years ago, she was a gospel singer , she stole the hearts of many and she was very popular in that country but to me she bullied , stole and punished me because she was an orphan and my dad got me a lot of stuff for school ^{that's just my guess} there was no excuse , I was a nerd and introverted and shy but I never did anything to trigger her to hate me , but she died
I did feel a little sorry because she was too young but it didn't erase the fact that she was awful to me and sweet to some, I'd be lying if I told people I forgave her or forgot what she did to me , am I not allowed to express my hatred for her because she died? Death doesn't make the unrighteous righteous , and this fear of death and dead people isn't very truthful , everyone dies and dead people were once people , saying negative or positive things about them should not be a big deal
