Good day everyone, it's been almost four months since I applied for my visa and since then there hasn't been a single word from IRCC.
I've sent them thousands of mail but I still get generic responses, please what else can I do?.

Good morning All, I have been trying to get a supervisor in Canada for a Master's program. I have sent out cold email to professors but I keep getting messages like 'I thank you for your interest but I do not have a position at this time. I wish you luck in your search.' or no reply at all.
I graduated with a second class honours upper division in Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering. And I have been writing to professors in Biological engineering in various school in Canada and since haven't gotten any positive reply.

Please is there any other way I could go about this because some universities requires contacting professor even before applying.
Hi Token9,

There is something missing in the content of your e-mails. Unfortunately, it's impossible to decipher, not without actually reading one or two of your requests. However, I would advise you to spare a moment to gain understanding of these professors' ongoing research before writing them.

Can't wait to eventually celebrate with you!

I think the issue is with the way your income comes in, it is not a regular income job I guess, I will advise you send updated statements as well as additional evidence of payment for the job you did.

All the best

Have you read their refund policy? How did you make the payment to them? Those things do not apply to you since you do not have them but the mode of transfer to them will determine how the funds will get back to you.

She can find out if there is VAC there and go there and inquire if she can submit the passport there. She can also send a message to IRRC via twitter or call them to ascertain.

Hello all
I got a refusal letter yesterday.

" I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee."

I used Mpower loan for sponsorship

What can I do to turn this around, I want to reapply?

Hello, pls I am trying to submit my student visa application through GCkey but then my document sizes are larger than the maximum size per file (4mb). I tried compressing it but it's compressing it to only about 4%. I'd appreciate any assistance on the best way I can go about this.
Also, I was thinking if it is possible to send some through the portal and if there are other alternatives of sending documents maybe I could do that too.

Compressed each document first before margin, then compressed again after margin.

Hope this help.

Two questions - Have you been working for the past 13 years? And is it a self sponsored study? Are you planning to sponsor your education partly with MPOWER loan?

How much did you get from the MPOWER loan? Did it cover for the tuition and living expenses, also what amount did you show as your own savings? Answers will help in tackling the refusal

Good morning everyone
Please I need your help on this.
Because I’m confused
When I’m making payment for transmission fee
Can I pay via mobile bank app and then submit screenshots for prove of payment or i have to go to the bank?

And am I paying the sms fee to the same bank?

If you use a bank app, make a transfer and export the pdf. Print it and attach it to the documents in your envelope.

If you don't, go to Sterling Bank and make a deposit with the inclusion of the SMS fee. You should be making a total payment of ₦10,400. Scan, print the deposit slip and attach it to your documents.

After my second refusal, I requested a refund from NBCC. They didn't request for those details. There are three possibilities: Either there's a change in the refund requirement, you did not request through the right process, or the person that attended to you is making a mistake. Which is it?

Deed of Assignments between you and the purchaser as well as land receipts and Survey Plan. These documents would suffice to prove the source of the large deposit.

Visa Approved!!!!

I have been a silent reader and observer. I am dropping this to encourage others on this wonderful platform who are waiting for PPR or waiting to even start the entire process. I am 38 years old with a study gap of 13years. I completed the masters program admission and visa application process myself.

Here is my timeline:
Application Submitted: 11th July
Biometrics: 14th July (updated on 22nd August after an email and webform)
Upfront medical: 20th July (updated on 29th August after an email and webform)
Eligibility started: 10th September
BVL: 10th September
PPR: 10th September

Due to the school enrollment deadline, I have already deferred my admission to the next intake which is within the 150days timeframe.

I pray that good news will locate everyone else still waiting.

Hello Gee

1. When applying for a Canadian Visa application, you make sure you apply way early before the period you intend to enter Canada. Do not assume you will get an early final decision form IRCC especially when you apply late to the time you intend to enter Canada. It actually takes the grace and Favour of God for you to get a very early Final Decision.. IRCC isn't known for fast or early final decision, they actually take their time to scrutinize every application as presented..

2. Yes, you can. But I wanna believe they would have sent your results to IRCC. So you can as well send webform and mails to IRCC with your E-Medical sheets attached (It works).

Peace

I regret to hear that your visa application was refused by the Canadian immigration authorities. I can't conclude that the reason behind your refusal was as a result of the Mpower loan. However, the explanations you gave in support of how you intend to pay up this loan after studies in Canada matters alot to the processing officer. Any relevant job opportunities for you back home or are you depending on the Canadian job market to work and offset those bills?. On the other hand, what other sponsor did you declare in your application aside the Mpower? Did you include additional sponsor or the Mpower was your stand alone sponsor?

Provide answers to these questions, I'll be pleased to provide solutions to your failed application.

It will end in praise
