Dont underestimate lockdown season. It has the highest engagement ever on BBN Nairaland with 11thousand pages. Pepperdem engagement for all it's interesting tag was far behind at 8 thousand pages.

Lockdown took the national interest in BBN to an all time high and the most remarkable thing was that the interest level did not wane even into the final weeks. During lockdown, you leave this thread for 3 hours and when you come back there are already a hundred pages for you catch up.

Lockdown had strong smart confident personalities that sustained its interest. Laycon, Kidd, Ozo, Erica, Prince, Nengi, Neo, Dora, Trickytee. The competitiveness was outstanding. I'd say the lockdown set were the best in terms of quality of task performance. I remember Neo's flawless rendition of of the Suits series or Kidd's impressive acting of Power series, or Vee's hosting presentation or Ozo's sports broadcasting.

Lockdown cast had starpower in plenty. SYE had only Maria, Wmoney, Pere & Cross at this level.

Today, these guys are still shining based on their talent. Laycon for all his supposed struggles is still the most accomplished BB9ja musician till date. Ozo is doing super well on Supersports. Vee is a regular presenter on shows. Erica and Nengi are successful ambassadors for brands.

Lockdown shined because of COVID lockdown.
