This is an honest review of the crypto app called Yellow Card. It all started on the 1st of September, I needed to buy USDT at a cheap rate so I started researching on the best means. I usually use Binance P2P but as the price was around N690, I was looking for alternatives.

So, I stumbled upon this Yellow Card app and immediately tried to lookup their USDT rate, but the app won't let me unless I deposit some money. I opened the deposit platform and saw a Paga account to pay into, which the after several attempts (due to First bank transfer issue) was later successful (I deposited N40,300).

When I checked the USDT rate, it was higher than Binance P2P rates. I concluded immediately that I didn't want to continue. I attempted to withdraw my money but the app won't allow me, I contacted their customer care on Twitter and via email. It took them 2 days for them to fix the problem and I was only able to apply for withdrawal on 3rd of September (Saturday) with a service charge of N100.

Within 24 hours, I contacted them again that I have not seen my money. They replied that withdrawal transactions won't be done on weekends, that I should wait, and give them 3 working days (till Wednesday). I waited till Wednesday, yet no money was paid. I contacted the customer care again, they said they will give my case to the Finance department. One day, two days past, nothing yet. Anytime I post my matter on their twitter handle, they will suppress the post by hiding it.

I sent, an email again and they told me they will work on it. Now, I have received a mail over the weekend that the money has been sent to me that I should contact my bank, but nothing is my account. I use mobile app, and I can check my account at any moment.

Whoever knows the app operators to should ask them to return my money. I am no longer interested in what they have to offer.

I will advice anybody I know to SAY OFF THIS APP. It's a frustration service.

MODS, please you can assist me push this to FP.

I also call on operators of Paga to suspend transactions and freeze these accounts used by Yellow Card to withhold money sent by depositors.

Thankfully, as stated before, First bank was having transfer issues when I tried to deposit, so in those failed attempts, I took screenshots of some of their accounts I was asked to pay in.

Paga operators, do something about this accounts and other affliated ones which I don't have.

For 11 days and counting, Yellow Card has ceased my money and refused to pay me.

The money was credited back to my Yellow Card account, and I subsequently requested another withdrawal. Currently, I have received my money and will not transact business with Yellow Card in the near future. I thank anyone who might have done one or two things to bring this matter to an amicable end.

My Review still stands as authentic and should serve as a warning to anyone wishing to transact business with Yellow Card.

The only fast thing was ease of crediting my account immediately I deposited which impressed me initially, afterwards, everything went sour.

They are so focused on increasing their social media reach, instead of focusing on automated deposit and withdrawal, smooth use of services, and general functionality.

They got their bad image from frustrating me for 11 days. If I didn't go wild today, they would still be telling me stories till tomorrow.

It was probably a failed network transaction from thier backend server

Initially yes, but I didn't buy again since the rate was not favourable at that time.

I decided to withdraw the money back to my bank account.

As someone said, you have no track record on Nairaland.

However, as someone that I am that likes supporting small business to grow, if you are willing to do two things, I will buy from up to 80K worth.

1. Your USDT has to be lower than I would ordinarily get (so give me your rate).

2. You have to open the advert on Binance P2P, I will buy it on the platform (for security reasons).
