She travelled through Heathrow yesterday and is in the UK now. The whole money for tuition and maintenance is in her account.

This ukvi are very s.illy, they abandoned standard visa and face priority. If they open up priority, it should be that they have idle hands to take care of them not elongating standard visa's time. Flight cost is rising everyday and their ineptness has destabilized people's plan

So what I did when they asked for certificate when I was processing CAS, was to let them know of ASUU strike and NASU strike at the time, I copied everybody In the mail, even the university country manager, and they responded that I can go ahead with using my transcript and they are well aware of the strike

From my paid mail, all the applications were decided between 15th and 16th August. I received collection mail for 3 of my dependants last week and up till now, I haven't received mail for me as MA and a dependent. When I became more worried, this morning, I called ukvi again and the two applications were escalated. I later received the attached mail that I should wait for 15 working days more. This is getting me more devastated right now. I don't understand what's happening to me. Please what is the problem or what will likely happen? Please help attend to my case.

I have same regret, how and why did I not go for priority visa?

See what UKVI sent to someone. I honestly don’t know how these people are working. How can they tell her to chase British High Commission for her passport?! Also, don’t they have direct contact with them?! Passport that is such a delicate document is what they are misplacing anyhow! I really hate the way they’re handling our applications and treating us like trash!

The visa was issued for your son on 16/08/2022 and it was dispatched on 23/08/2022.
 
The applicant  passports are never with us. We have written to your VAC, as hundreds of applicants like yourself still didn’t get their passports, despite the visas being issued in July/August.
 
The VAC told us that the passports are with the local DMC. We have contacted the DMC multiple times, there is no response.
 
Kindly chase your case with the DMC and the VAC, as we cannot do anything or see any updates once the visa is issued.
 
We have nonetheless been trying to chase the VAC and DMC without any luck and will keep doing so.

I don’t think you are counting it right - Aug23 till now (working days isn’t up to 17) Mind you - 29th was a bank holiday. So I bet you are somewhere around 13-14 working days.

Regardless, God will have mercy on us cos the wait isn’t easy.

Honestly, I’ve lost all excitement concerning this uk relocation. The thing feels more like a burden to me than a blessing. I haven’t felt peace since this journey started. It’s been from one hurdle to another. To get admission wahala, to get CAS wahala, to get bio date wahala, to get decision wahala. I did credibility interview and a decision was made 1 week ago, yet I haven’t gotten BRP mail or collection mail. This thing has really affected my mental health. I feel so unlucky.

Please house, my wife has been given conditional offer from Leeds Beckett since July 12 and she’s yet to get the unconditional offer till present. Is there something wrong somewhere or should we focus on another school ?

Has anyone gotten this type of response before after sending a paid mail, am worried as ive not seen this type of reply from anyone, i tot its usually simply awaiting decision or decision has been made

Sunderland gave me CAS 2 days after i met all requirements:
1. Paid deposit
2. Visa Preparation Questionnaire
3. POF
4. Bank reference letter
5. They will send you Conviction Declaration form (which you will fill and email)

Also, always follow up with calls (That one go chop your money wella. I don sit down on call for 1 hour before). The people on phone always seem to know exactly where you are and what to do to move to the next item.
