Abeg, who has gotten the Zenith bank Interim dividend?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 12:09pm On Sep 13, 2022
20 region seems to be support for both GTCO and ZENITH. All things being equal, any further deep should prompt a buy, i think so.

I am planning on selling wapco and dangcem so i can buy zenith...

Remember CMMF

As your interim dividends continue to hit your bank account, enjoy yourself, but please don't forget to drop at least 5,000
into the coral money market fund managed by FSDH to gain another interest of 11.04% on your investment
By the end of September and December respectively, you will have more money for your enjoyment.

I was actually expecting Zenith to hit N18.5-19 after interim dividend but it has refused to go down. May be it will fall towards the end of the month sha

The price of WAPCO might go up if they decide to pay interim dividend after Q3.

Is the 11.04% after tax? if not then the actual interest is 9.94%.

Exactly, apart from better rate a no WHT on dividend is one of the advantages of mmf over fixed deposit and some other investment windows.

COURT RESTRAINS NAICOM FROM WINDING UP STANDARD ALLIANCE
A Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) from liquidating the Standard Alliance Insurance Plc pending hearing and determination of a motion on notice.
Justice Akintayo Aluko issued the order on September 1, while granting the reliefs sought by Dickson Odoko, Donatus Uba and Standard Alliance Limited, who are the plaintiffs/applicants.
The judge also restrained the commission, the first defendant/respondent and a lawyer, Kehinde Aina, the second defendant, from taking any further step towards liquidation or winding up of the insurance firm pending hearing and determination of the motion.
Apart from Aina, other defendants/respondents in the suit are the minister of finance and Awoduya Omotayo.
The applicants had on August 22, 2022 filed a motion on notice before the court, asking for an interim injunction restraining the second respondent, Aina, whether by himself or through his agents, privies or any other person acting under his authority, from acting or further acting as the appointed receiver/liquidator of the insurance firm pending the determination of the motion on notice.
The plaintiffs filed a five-paragraph motion ex-parte and affidavit in support of the motion on notice, in suit No: FHC/L/CS/1585/2022.
Justice Aluko adjourned the matter till September 9 for hearing of the applications.
In June, NAICOM, which is headed by Thomas Sunday, cancelled the certificates of registration of Niger Insurance Plc and Standard Alliance Insurance Plc over their inability to settle outstanding claims for over three consecutive years.

Why has Niger Insurance not yet gone to court to sue NAICOM? Will they ever go?
