Let us be clear, there is nothing special about the Lagos template. Don't be deceived by oga Tinubu. Lagos is successful (not truly successful if you remove the noise around the success), regardless, lagos is successful because it is diversified by people all over Nigeria and even abroad. It also helps that Lagos has the only meaningful seaport.


Ebonyi needs someone that can build infrastructure like oga Umahi in essentials, agriculture, etc. but now also has a business sense to draw in people who will do business or bring more expertise to Ebonyi.

Don't fall in the godfather trap.

Today in Lagos, if lagos state makes 1billion (for example), tinubu can send someone to go and tell sanwo to send money to his new account. And that's from revenue or borrowed money, tinubu takes at will. So, even when tinubu does not send anybody to the offices to go and get his entitlement money, one of his boys or girls will claim he did. Things like that blurr the lines.

Govt is not God. They are there to use their wisdom to help their people grow better than they met it, without borrowing up and down. They are there to help create a general fair playing field.


Don't be deceived by oga Tinubu. He gives nothing. If you hear that Tinubu donated 50 million, just know that lagos money reduced that day by a 100 million. Tinubu will make sanwo send him 100 mil through back channels, then he donates 50 million, keeps 30 million for himself, then mc oluwo dem will share the rest. On top of all the daily drivers tax they are sharing and other bogus taxes.

Because of godfatherism, Tinubu feels like the whole Lagos state money is his money. So, nip it now for Umahi or whoever'.

The next leader should know that Ebonyi people are high standard people, nothing less is expected, regardless of party. The best man or woman should lead.
