Prince Andrew has never decided not to be a Royal.
He has not lived a responsible life in any way but he has remained loyal to the crown and even when Fergie (his former wife) exhibited some 'Meganism', he cut her loose.
Almost all his responsibilities have been taken from him and he has lost a lot of perks but there is a clear difference between a prodigal son and his inconsiderate elder brother.
Once you walk away you lose everything.
It is an institution, not just a family.

Why are they angry? They both don't even have the HRH titles since they stepped down from being senior royals. After rejecting it, they now want it for their kids, doesn't makes sense if you aske me.

there are rules that govern the "HRH" title. When you are a son\daughter or grandchild of a monarch, the title is automatic. You can decide to renounce it and the children of Harry and Meghan who are grandchildren of King Charles are supposed to be "HRH" automatically despite their parents' actions, by virtue of what the law states. The rule under the deceased queen is different from now because they were great grandchildren by then and the law doesn't cover great grandchildren unless the monarch confers it on them.

I think his post was referring to the news not being trustworthy. He said since Harry and his family wants to stay away from the burden of royalty, then it makes zero sense that they try to push the burden to their kids.
Dailymail said a source informed them. An unknown source that is. That itself punches a big hole in the validity of the report.

One of Prince Andrew's daughter Beatrice (see picture below) got a pass too. The British press ignored the princess and her husband, but instead attacked Harry and Meghan for doing exactly that.
