Seun decided to be unfortunate yesterday. He's been receiving it wotoporiously since yesterday.
Man has blocked, unblocked, locked and reopened comment section.

I just couldn't believe seun could be this foolish.

But Ṣeun has only said what most of us have read in books about the civil war na.

Most people during that period actually saw the January 1966 coup as "Igbo coup" and that was why there was a counter-coup.

Maybe the way Ṣeun brought it up may not sit down well with the younger generation on twitter, but seun is not wrong on this one.

There were 4 regional premiers 2 Ibos 2 non Ibos
The 2 non Ibos were killed and the 2 Ibos were spared

The non Ibo Prime Minister was killed, The Ibo President was spared

Of all the serving ministers where we had many Ibos non of them was touched
Actually the coupist saw Jaja Wachukwu and spared him but hunted others down

After the coup failed the next in succession was Zaana Dipcharima but Nwafor Orizu refused to hand over to him but to his kinsman Aguiyi Ironsi

These are the facts of the first coup, make what you want of it

For fvcks sake, the election is already as divisive as can be, why throw more flames into the fire??

Why dredge up memories (false account or not) that is totally unrelated to today's happenings?

What was the aim of that tweet? Is it to stir emotions or what?

What exactly was he right about??

Look at this tweet again and tell me exactly what seun got right here.

That igbos should go and beg the north and that north should forgive. Which igbos should beg? Which north should forgive?

Isn't the war enough? Wasn't the mantra at the end of the war, no victor, no vanquished?
So why all these?

His food has landed!!!

This is what he lives for!! Sowing the seeds of discontent wherever he goes!!

Nigerians, take your time to watch this video and infer from it whatever you wish. But clearly, APC and INEC are not ready to give us a credible, free and fair elections.

"Tinubu will have 18%, people are dense".

If wicked tribalism didn't block your brain, you would have seen that that wasn't a poll for ONLY voters but the entire population.

On average only 15 percent of the population votes, so it's accurate, just do away with evil tribalism and genocidal calls and your brain will be put to better use.

Now election is coming and they are sharing stuffs

This thing is essentially expo for everybody, and I'd say, it's as realistic as possible. As predicted, voter apathy up North will be rife (they are not excited by an Atiku candidacy), as it is in the South West (they are not excited by a Tinubu candidacy either). The undecided/refused category of the poll is enough to tilt the election the way of any candidate, it's very significant.

We Peter Obi supporters should not be excited by this poll, because there's still so much work to be done. Most of those undecided/refused, I can bet are Tinubu/Atiku leaning. More work needs be done in the South/South, and North Central states.

But this is very true.
Yorubas don't support bastards.

Yoruba chieftains are asking;

What is Tinubu's genealogy? What is his birth name?

Who are his parents?
What primary and secondary school did he attend?
Who are his childhood friends or classmates?
How old is amoda OGUNLERE?

This picture below is the only thing known of Amoda's childhood?

People ask where and when was this picture taken?
Was it in the 30s, 40s or the 50s?

AMODA OGUNLERE remains a mystery and yorubas do not support bastards of unknown households.

I agree with u that the timing of Seun's tweet is ill-timed, but I'm telling u what he said in that tweet is not incorrect. The general believe was that the coup was an "Igbo coup", every available facts as at that period suggests that.

I also agree with u that the we are indeed as divided as we can be already...... However it's also fact that most people didn't move on after the war; there's still bitterness and resentment amongst the various tribes of players/actors in the war.

Forget about the "No Victor, No vanquished mantra" mantra being mouthed generally by politicians and military men of that period. Me and u know the secession move/war is the reason some northern politicians make it so difficult for Igbo's to become president. Some of them believe the moment an igbo man becomes president he will wake the Biafra dream.

I personally don't think anybody should beg anybody, but I think we need to have like a refrendum/national.confab to determine how we want to move as a country. Rwanda fought a bloody war as recent as less than 30 years ago and they've moved on to rebuild their country & have learnt to live together with their differences. We need to talk about our differences, let different people's agitations be listened to. In order to do this, some bitter truths will be said, some old wounds will be re-opened ( just like the January 1966 coup), etc.

Some people say Amoda was born into poverty and hustled his way through criminality to the top.
Others say he was born with a silver spoon and his family sold slaves.

Nature abhors a vacuum. Where there is no verifiable fact, rumors fill that vacuum.

How can a nation of 200 million people not know the first 3 decades of a frontrunner's life??

What if Tinubu was a deadly cultist in his youth who went on killing sprees before his sojourn to America only to tone down the violence and be a drug baron? As i said, nature abhors a vacuum.

The North and SW should move on but the SE should not move on from the events of 1966, Just last week, The queen had barely died before some started blaming her for the same civil war events they told others to move on from. Before you say 2 words you will start hearing Yorubas are betrayers from the same people who want people to move on
