Good evening everyone, I paid 1500cad to secure my sit in conestoga, but I was given till October 11th to pay the balance of 8500cad. I'm paying with form A which i already initiated on the 13th of this month, my bank says form A now takes 5 to 6 weeks, which means I have less than 4 weeks with the dealine my school gave me. Now my questions; 1.If the bank did not debit me before the dealine, will i forfeit my admission? Even though I already paid the 1500 2.Can I mail my school and ask for 2 weeks extension? I already submitted my application and my resumption is January 2023. Please I need answers. Thanks 1 Like |

Oldfashioned145: The bank to credit depending on your location will be shown to you either while booking or after booking, can't remember now. Just make a transfer to the IOM account and print your proof of successful transfer like 2 days to your appointment. The documents you will need for your medicals are- * Your physical passport not photocopies. * Your medicals booking confirmation receipt - printed out. * Your successful transfer receipt printed out. Unlike biometrics where they attend to you according to your time slot, get to the hospital early cos it's usually First come first serve (they will share several numbers and follow them against the time slot you booked. Good luck. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Iremide2019: I'm not sure you'll forfeit your admission. I'm not sure it is necessary to mail the school. Some people just paid the deposit and there admission still stand even not paying the balance of 8500cad. This is from experience. Others can tell you their views. 1 Like |

Iremide2019: Your school will best answer this, your initial dep was to secure your seat in the program while the balance dep is simply what you must pay to get access to your timetable and resume classes when it's time. Don't wait till your deadline to start panicking, send them a mail, let them know you have initiated your payment, let them know of the time frame for disbursement and then get to know what their feedback would be ahead of time. Good luck. 1 Like |

In my case, I sent a mail to the school explaining the situation. You can do the same as well. Here’s a sample incase you need it, Goodluck! Dear Sir/Ma, I am writing to humbly request for an extension for my tuition deposit deadline payment which is XXXXXXXXX Student Name: XXXXXXX Student Number: XXXXXX I have initiated the transaction with my bank but due to the delay of FX allocation by the Central Bank of Nigeria, my transaction is still on the queue for processing. However my bank has informed me that the estimated date of completion for my transaction is XXY - XXY (I added extra 3-4 weeks to my deadline date). Attached proof of payment being processed by the bank. (Attach your online form A slip, you can get this from the trade portal) Kindly grant me an extension to enable the bank complete my payment, I am committed to attending this master’s program and I hope I am being granted this opportunity. Thank you for your time and consideration, I await a positive response. Regards, XXXXXXX Iremide2019: 5 Likes |

johnstan: Thank you very much for your contribution. For a Dom account, I will still have to buy black market dollar rate to be deposited in the bank. based on my inquiry from the bank. Statement of balance will just show the balance in my bank account Since I will be submitting my sponsor's SOA, that's why I intend using the balance statement to show it's meant for my first sem tuition. I thought they was going to be a proof of transaction from using the form A, but maybe transfer Telex could suffice. Thanks for shipping that in. But did you pay any deposit before submitting your visa application? Thanks very much |

Iremide2019:Ask your school for extension, just show them evidence that you have initiated the payment process and how long the bank says they will take to process it. |

Hello everyone… It’s been a while. I’ve been absent for some time. School and having to work has been a roller coaster but I wouldn’t have it any other way.. Recently changed schools and program this fall from the school I came in with from Nigeria in March. I’ll try as much as possible to be present here and share my little knowledge with anyone available.. Wishing everyone else that have applied and planned to apply a successful application. 17 Likes 1 Share |

PKDpromise22: For the old Portal, clear your cache and cookies then retry. The new portal now requires OTP to login, I noticed. Yea so it will send an OTP to your registered mail, copy it, input it and voila you're in. |

Timaiko: You got that right for a Dom account. Your proof of funds duration should be between 4 to 6 months at least - your transactions within this period and your balance at the time of generating the statement will be visible to the vo not just your balance. Ini dep and balance were after my application, sent the receipts to IRCC via webform and they were acknowledged. |

Ing123: So the way I did it. I did registration for the school I came in with. Unfortunately/fortunately I couldn’t resume cz my sister got sick here and she has a baby so I deferred the previous admission till fall. And I started applying to another school. When I got the admission I just updated IRCC on my portal about DLI change. The normal process is for you to even start the first school. Maybe for a few weeks before you change but I had a valid reason for o starting. 1 Like 1 Share |
