Who is she? Was she born rude? No.

The people here who mentioned their concerns about her attitude meant well.

Especially since she's planning to go to Canada, that attitude will not work in her favour. Let her try commenting like that on Reddit, she'll be banned or downvoted to eternity grin

I've had to learn to tone down my attitude too. It's not about having to change oneself. It's about personal healing and growth.

CHARITOJAMES!!!!!

Oya make everybody ga'an rest.

There isn't much here that would have taken the high road like she just did.

No more pointing fingers. Plus, I dare add, we have a right to our individuality and personality. What you term borderline rude, is simply indifference for some. As you demand acknowledgement of your triggers, know and acknowledge others' triggers.

Charitojames do not need to change who she is becuase of NL. A long standing rule is, if you don't like it, wakapass.

We are still waiting for your PPR to come and host JJC Meet Up at the maple land.

Don't you have to apply for a new study permit when you change shool/DLI?

If your application for a study permit has been approved and you change your DLI, you must submit a new study permit application with a new letter of acceptance. You must also pay all the fees for the new application.

I don’t know where that link came from and I tried checking. It gave me error
Per the information I know and have seen on IRCC website . I don’t have to apply for a new study permit once I’m inside canada and want to change schools. I just only have 150 days to begin the new school. And I’ve started already. All documents seems fine

I just applied for a co-op cz I realized I’ll need one for my new program. No issues

Thanks for sharing. Please can DLI be changed while awaiting a decision to be made on one’s study permit application?

I’m not sure about this. I changed my DLI after I got to canada

You got that right for a Dom account.

Your proof of funds duration should be between 4 to 6 months at least - your transactions within this period and your balance at the time of generating the statement will be visible to the vo not just your balance.

Ini dep and balance were after my application, sent the receipts to IRCC via webform and they were acknowledged.

Thank you very much

Due to the school enrollment deadline, I have already deferred my admission to the next intake which is within the 150days timeframe.

Morning guys , pls my guy needs help.

I introduced this page to my friend when he started his Canada student visa application. Unfortunately, he was denied on his first attempt , so someone introduce an agent/immigration lawyer (in Canada) to him. He paid close to 500k for the first application which was still Denied. The agent reapplied for him and this time , it came through. The agent is now demanding additional 730k to release his details to him and it is 1week already , he has 3 weeks to submit his passport.I tried to chat with the agent to pacify and bargain the money to a more reasonable amount, the agent blocked me .

Please is there anyway to retrieve his details or atleast get the agent to come to terms with him.

@sapte in noticed you had some issue with your agent at some point. Pls help.

Gurus in the house , kindly help.

Please gurus, I need your input on this.

A friend's family application has just been approved after defering to January 2023.

Since the student can't start working until she starts her program, they are seeking answers to the following two options:

Option 1: Can the spouse start working immediately with his SOWP if they choose travel to Canada this month of September 2022?

Option 2: Can only the spouse travel this month of September 2022 and start working immediately with his SOWP while the wife (student) will join the spouse in January to start her study?

Your contributions will be highly appreciated.

Opt 2 must be mocking the reasons why sowp was issued in the first place @ port of entry without study permit holder following immigration law...I think the person may be deported

sent an appeal to them and it was declined.
most of the courses in the school are fall intakes, if I apply for an intake in September 2023 can I still use this SP? or I have to reapply for another SP?

Sure as long as the SP is yet to expire and you will have to ether Canada before the visa expiration.

Good morning gurus in the house. Please I need help and assistance. I have admission to ITD Canada and my intake is to begin October 03. I did an upfront medical on the 25th of August and collected the results on the September 08. I have created my IRCC account and prepping for filling, uploading and submitting.
Initially I was told I needed a bank statement of N6- N8 Million for visa application only for me to hear from the Director that I’ll be needing 13-15 million Naira. I told my aunty who introduced me to the man and she said that’s way too much for a single student, she said she will talk with the man to find out why the change in figures and was made to understand that it is due to inflation and stuffs. Talked with the man if with N10 million i can apply for study permit with it and he said it’s okay.
My questions please are;

1.Can anyone help me with POF or know companies for offer them and at what %tages. Considering one needs a SOA for approximately 4-6 months if I apply with 4 months will It be OK?
2. How much do I need as SOA to apply for study permit my LOA shows my fees is $12000 though I understood it’s a scholarship program where I’m paying $4000.
3. What are the documents I’ll need to submit while filing the form.
4. What happens to my school which is to begin 03 October whose admission letter will be expire on 14 October? Should I defer to January 2023 considering the fact that it can take 1-3 months to get a response from IRCC? Will I need to pay additional application fee if that’s the case?
5. Will I be considered if I get submit a statement with 10 million?

Any form of advice, help or assistance will be greatly appreciated thank you
