I must say I agree with you. Before the war started, there was a reported meeting between Russia and some Middle Eastern countries (you can guess who they are already) . It was perfectly timed with the NATO/Ukraine provocation of Russia vis the US plot to get it bogged down. Hence. The hasty and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan with the sole purpose of focusing on a new front, which is this current war. But once again, the western economic/military/geopolitical planners underestimated and miscalculated Russia and the outcome this war would bring. If anyone think Russia would take off the soft gloves and upgrade this SMO to a full blown declaration of war, then that person would have to think again because this was a carefully planned operations hence, we saw how Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Venezuela, and OPEC simply gave the US the middle finger per the demand to release more oil into the market.

As long as this so-called Ukraine war lingers, countries like Russia will get richer, the cost of economic production in Europe will get higher while they will end up losing their competitive advantage in production and market share current and emerging markets from Asia, because if there is one thing you can never replace, it is CHEAP RESOURCES.

There is talk that another angle of the gas/oil price inflation as orchestrated by the current Ukraine war pushed by the US was a deliberate attempt to weaken Germany primarily and by extension, Europe which was becoming too independent to the liking of the US elite. And that is coming from within US own intelligence circle.

Unfortunately, Europe overreached its limit and is the one now paying the ultimate price.

As for Russia, it will continue to drag this war which is becoming obvious to everyone including western think-tanks. Because the longer it last the more money they make from natural resources. This war is far from over.
