I was having a conversation with a friend day before yesterday and we were discussing relationships and what not. Then I remember us getting into the marriage part, then I made a claim telling him I might not consider getting married ever. He was shocked and asked why I would consider such. I told him that it would be hard finding a virgin in this age and time and that I know that bonding with a woman as my wife who has already been deflowered would be impossible.

I told him to visit the Book of Numbers in the bible, Numbers 31 specifically, and check Numbers 31:18 , were the warriors of Israel were told to spare the virgins of Midianites(but kill everyone else), that they should keep the virgins for themselves. This showed the importance of virgins because they would eventually bond with these men and accept their God better.

My friend went silent for minutes on end and was lost in thought. His eyes were finally opened.

It used to be isolated cases of men abused by the system so no one cared enough cause there was this "it wouldn't happen to me" belief among men, but as these cases become more and more and people closer and closer to them start getting targeted all men are getting a reality check.
