For one thing, there is no hell fire and they are the ones Acts 24v 15 refers to as the unrighteous. They too will be raised up.

Actually the Colonialist were themselves influenced INTO Christianity.

And although it cannot be conclusively argued that Christians have a single, general point of view on Islam’s ‘bloody corridors’, the increasing violence, which has affected Christians, has created an atmosphere in which the rhetoric can easily slide towards calls for revenge, even when there is no true logic for it.

Thank you, that was why I used the word paradise first because that’s what they keep promising people, there’s this illusion or should I call it deceit actually that , if you’re not in this particular religion, you’re likely to go to hell , I’m still waiting for my late grandfather who happens to be a Muslim and all his 5 kids are pastor and no single one of the grandkids is practicing Islam, I’m still waiting for him to appear in my dream one day to tell me I’m this is how it looks like when you die , This is Heaven, this is hell, only those who believe in this and that make it to Heaven and others go to hell , the funny thing is nobody has ever came back to tell us Shit , even Jesus hasn’t came back after 2000 years , we only hear He is coming soon and when he comes, This and this will happen according to what’s written in the scriptures , by the way I’m not atheist, I grew up a Muslim and Christian home I was supposed to become a pastor at some point but I let go , I read both the Quran and The Bible, I studied both well and graduated , I just get pissed when some people try to claim self-righteous and try to condemn others .

No, we would all not go to Hell. Instead, scripture says that those who die as unbelievers will perish in the grave. First off,there is a God somewhere, and we didn’t all come from the Big Bang as postulated by atheist. It’s just how how God and His name is been used today the I don’t agree with.

The major religions are the creation of men and instruments of control and behavioral modification.

The human mind is indeed stubborn, and a threat of fire or some form of punishment was required to scare people into behaving themselves. Fear is a strong force and it worked well over the years. Even in our African traditional religion there were punishments for deviant behavior and rewards for positive behavior.

We were Christians far b4 the colonial masters. They NEVER brought Christianity to us. Rather they learnt Christianity from us. They did not bring schools or civilization to us. Rather they took these away from us
Finally pagan religion is not the religion of our forefathers. They are the result of 500yrs of slavery and dark ages Africa was plunged into. Most Yoruba deities like Ogun, Sango themselves had personal Gods they worshiped. They were not gods unto themselves. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong

I once argued this way back in 2004 in secondary school with a colleague of mine then.. I asked him “if my great great grandfather wasn’t a Christain but an upright man in all his ways will he still go to hell seeing that he never heard about the gospel in his time“ and my Scripture Union colleague said YES! I told him I don’t buy that. That will eliminate any idea that God was a fair judge.
