Re: Poland Work Visa by counter44: 6:21am On Sep 18, 2022 |
HIGHLYGRACED: Frankly, not sure anyone here can help you with this answer. It all depends on you, your income in Poland, your expenses, your needs for living/studies, and so many other things specific to you. Not sure anyone here knows you enough to help you with all that calculation and decision-making. It's your personal thing to figure out yourself. |

Re: Poland Work Visa by counter44: 12:28pm On Sep 18, 2022 |
LordHashira: Nigerians will never disappoint. For months now, many of us here have been asking “who got appointment?”, but y’all kept quiet, got appointment, still kept quiet. You attended VISA appointment, still kept quiet. But After the embassy rejected y’all you came here to type epistle, looking to rally people for some lost cause lol. Bro! Better calm down. The embassy has every right to reject you from their country for any reason - It’s literally in their law. In fact, let me blow your mind: Even if the embassy gave you VISA, the Polish Border Guard can still deny you entry with your valid VISA, if they don’t want you in their territory for any reason - It’s all in their law. Stop taking rejection personal. They reject people from every country on the planet at every embassy. It’s not news. Nigerians will always show their disgusting entitlement to everything! Poland is a very small and conservative country (still stuck in the communist era) and they are not an Immigrant nation like the others we know. My advice to anybody signing this yeye petition. Don’t start wahala you cannot finish. It’s their country and they have every right to determine who comes in! They never promised you anything or asked you to come. Take your L and move on fam! 2 Likes |

counter44: The procedures for getting appointment is clearly stated on the embassy's website. No one told us how to get appointment, we have to always be on the website like almost 24/7 and kept refreshing until a lucky day came and the site is open for appointment. The site is usually open just for 10 to 20 minutes. So try your luck |

counter44: In this life ehh, you will never understand until it gets to your turn. Mr Man understand what people are saying before you open your mouth to say something stupid. They have the right to turn down or refuse the visa request of people, but the rate is high. Why not just say from the beginning that we dont give visa due to so and so instead of suffering people and collecting their money 2 Likes |

counter44: Mr Epistle thank you for your letter to all Nigerians! For your information not everyone was here since day 1, some people actually searched online recently just to get this forum, read from pg 1 to the current page to understand the status quo and start contributing. The fact that you are so quick to attack without even asking questions to confirm or refute your alleged claims show why you haven't been getting any response to your questions so far. For your information, I am yet to get an appointment. I had to take a flight to Nigeria just to question the embassy for myself on why there hasn't been an appointment date for months and everything I typed there was based on my observation during such visits. Since you're so wise I'm sure you're aware one of the requirements for the visa is applying in your country of origin or permanent residence or the nearest polish embassy for such cases where there isn't one in your country. For this reason it's not rare to see Nigerians living in other countries and foreigner applying at the embassy. Anyone that has visited the place before know you don't even have to do much to gather valuable information since it's an open space where everyone gather and discuss with each other. Thank you for showing your knowledge of visas regime and laws, that's not a new information and any serious person on this thread is already aware of visa and border entry regulations. I have been to Poland several times and so far yet to be denied entry so no need to project your fears into the conversation. If you have any information or anything to contribute feel free to contact me as specified above, if not, keep waiting for your appointment date patiently. This is my first and last message to you. Viel Glück! |

emmatony: Lmfaoo bros you still don’t get it! The rate of rejection being high is simply telling you they want less of us in their country! It’s that simple. VISA rejection in India is even worse than in Nigeria. Poland is a small nation, deeply conservative, and VERY protective of their historic demography and culture. They’ll never have us flock into their country like UK, US, etc. These rejections without a good reason is obviously a method to regulate the inflow of people into their country from SPECIFIC nations. It’s been compounded lately by the ongoing Ukrainian refugee crisis. It’s simple: they don’t want you in their country, then move on! Fighting them by writing provoking letters to some organizations / commissions is the worst thing you can do. These EU commission and others you want to write to have NO power over the Polish Embassy or their decision - their law gave them full autonomy on that. 2 Likes |

LordHashira: Haha go and fight them after they reject you. Write your letter to EU commission and others, then see who’s going to give you the VISA 1 Like |

For those of us that intend to relocate with family, how did you apply for your spouse and child(ren)? I have been searching their website for family visa but can't find one and there is no provision for specifying them as dependents when I applied. |
Re: Poland Work Visa by Oluwakayodey: 4:03pm On Sep 26, 2022 |
My brother.... a little is enough for the wise!!! Let them go and write whoever they want... I have been there and done that!!! So why convince people with nonsense entitlement mentality. If you like apply a million times and they keep denying you try else where it's there country and their laws. In simple terms you are allowed to decide who you let into your house irrespective of their genuine reasons. Mind you they open up their borders to Ukrainians without going through any processing or legitimacy it's their country and no one can question them! I am yet to come across where its stated on any country's law or embassy that whenever you pay a visa fee is an automatic entitlement that you would get visa or be allowed into their country. The country with the easiest visa issuance (including Dubai) has presently stopped giving majority of us based on the attitude of some of our people I believe we all saw and heard the news and instead of realizing that some countries would be more strict letting more immigrants in (especially our people), you are thinking of petition and protest. My brothers Best of luck counter44: |

HIGHLYGRACED: You will get a residency card if you enter with your work visa. As a resident you should be able to enjoy free tuition or low tuition in some of their schools. Those who are currently living there will be in a better position to answer this question. |
Re: Poland Work Visa by gololly: 7:49am On Sep 28, 2022 |
counter44: It's very easy, close your embassy so we would know they don't want people. I am sure if you've spent a lot on this, you won't be talking this way. If the country are trying to reduce the number of foreigners coming in, then they shouldn't give admissions and collect school fees from us only for us to be denied in high numbers. There's always appointment dates for South Africa, so why are we different if it's not something done on purpose along with the denials? |

Portuguese embassy in Nigerian has stopped receiving applications till further notice... I think poland should follow suit instead of giving people false hope. Imagine the level of rejection after struggling to get appointment. 1 Like |

HIGHLYGRACED: It all depends on the kind of job you get, if it’s a remote or hybrid job, you can work and still have time to study. However, if it’s a full time job i doubt if you would be able to work and study. Finally if your full time job allows you to pick a work schedule considering on your school time table then you can do both. It takes a zealous and dedicated fellow to enter Poland through work route and still wants to go back to school. Majority of us shuffling studies and work can’t even wait to be done with school |

chuksogb: Well unfortunately this is the reality! This year so far only 1280 temporary residence have been issued to people from Naija. (India = 11926) Since temporary residence is given to new people entering the country and people already on ground renewing their permits. We need to break it down. Let's assume a ratio of 70:30 then it means out of that 1280 TRPs issued: 896 was issued to 9jirians coming in from abroad. Let's assume half of them are students (in reality students are usually more than work) then it means only 448 work visa people have gone to Poland from January 2022 until now! This includes people that applied in 9ja and other embassies worldwide using their Nigerian passport. Nigerians are even lucky to get 1280. Other countries in West Africa did not even reach 200 new permits. The Abuja Embassy is responsible for most of the West African countries, if we break down the statistics for Countries under the territorial competence of the Embassy. The total TRPs issued so far in 2022: Benin = 7 Cameroon = 217 Ghana = 159 Guinea = 37 Liberia = 4 Nigeria = 1280 Sierra Leone = 7 Togo = 9 See the full statistics of other countries on their official website https://migracje.gov.pl/en/statistics/scope/poland/ Now you know who Poland want in their country! 1 Like
