USA ain't Russia partner I got news for you if China does not have nuclear weapons the Seventh Fleet will be anchoring at Shanghai port right now. USA has so much conventional weapons that the rest of the world only dreams of. Just 16 HIMARS with 50 miles range that was developed in 1996 is causing so many problems for Russia just imagine what would have happened if newer multiple rocket launchers with ranges over 200 miles had been used armed with Napalm. That would have been ugly.

The Nigerian govt cannot default in this debt because it is in naira. The government has the capacity to exchange the debts with a new debt at maturity or simply print more notes and yes (government do print does daily). The Us bank is a reserve bank and when the Us govt owes you, they owe you in their currency. Meaning they cannot default. So the Us the world is their domestic market. Saudi Arabia sells their oil in USD. Even the UK charges their visa fee in USD. So the US govt does not worry about their debt like the Nigerian govt whose debts are in USD.

Number one thing that made USA the world leader ------ DOLLAR. Even China don't trust their own currency they prefer to do business in dollar. Ask the Arabs if they want their money in Yuan or dollars. That currency is backed by the full faith of the USA government. Take away the dollar then this country will be in freaking bad shape with $33 Trillion debt. Last year's interest payment on the debt was $239B dollars yes i typed Billion.

The domestic portion of the debt is 80% (Pension plans, Retirement accounts) California pension plan alone accounts for 45% of the debt. The obvious reason is that California is the 6th largest economy in the world. Yeap 6th largest in the world.

You need proper education and traveling exposure so you don't embarrass your community. What makes a country powerful is economy and human capital while Nuclear weapon or military is because the first two are highly efficient.
