His injury issues started almost as soon as he got to Madrid. when he eventually recovered, his first start IIRC was against PSG in UCL and that was the best Hazard game for Madrid. you can check the highlights of the match. he was a menace and heads and shoulders above anyone else in the match till his ankle was hit by compatriot Muenier which is the game he went off from and had been suffering from that consequence of which is his loss of pace which makes him look too slow. This can happen to any player even serious ones. Deisler, who played for your team, was regarded to be one of the biggest talents in Germany and injuries ruined him to the extent that he became depressed and considered suicide then retired at 27. Mario Goetze wasn't also unserious and look where his lack of fitness got him from being regarded as probably the biggest talent in the world to a player no big team wants just a year and half apart. Marco Van Basten is regarded by many to be one of the greatest players ever and retired at 28 due to injuries.
