PDP was suppose to zone her ticket to SE but Wike machinations made the Party to throw the contest open. Hence Peter Obi left the party in frustration. The north then rallied together to teach Wike a lesson using Atiku.
If Wike decides to back Tinubu, the same north will rally together to ensure that Atiku wins the 2023 election.

Atiku would have support Peter Obi to get the ticket but he took advantage of Wike' s greed to contest and win the ticket.
Presently, the north will take advantage of Wike's inexperience to rally support for Atiku. Northern APC Governors will begin to secretly work for Atiku to spite on Wike who they believe is working against the interest of the north.
Hence after indirectly making Atiku the candidate of PDP, Wike is also handing him victory in 2023 election.

He told Wike that he will loss PDP primary to Atiku. He also told Wike not to pull down PDP after the primary. Hence Fulani/ Hausa APC Governors will likely secretly work for Atiku to teach Wike a lesson.
Remember that Wike has already confess that some Buhari men are secretly supporting Atiku.
This means that Wike wahala will likely make Atiku to dominate NE/NW. Once that is done, Atiku will win the 2023 election.

Wike's rebel is the catalyst that PDP needs to win 2023 election. The north now sees him as someone undermining her influence in Nigeria. Both APC and PDP northern Governors and leaders will likely unite to cut Wike and his group to size.
Hence Wike rebel might end up being to Atiku advantage. Once APC northern leaders drop their support for Tinubu due to Wike, Atiku will win the election.
