My entry year is september 2023 for greenwich, I am also planing to accept this offer from Lincoln and defer the admission to september 2023 intake.
I dont know if i can resolve this dob issue as quickly as possible because i wouldnt want to make any deposit to any school until am sure i have no doubts with my documents.

Since you're going for Sept 2023, you should worry less. IELTS score takes 14 days after the exam I think. You can also push forward with the WAEC dob change if you wish. I have never done such so I can't tell how hard or easy it is.

I actually used western union Global pay to pay for my tuition, you go to the website, generate receipt and then use it to fill ur Form A.
The receipt will show deadline of 3 days but it does not matter.
Am also Jan Applicant and have paid mine using form A.

Who can quickly guide on BRP, passport collected with visas for all of us but no BRP mail anywhere, the enclosed envelopes in each passport is empty and only shows name, date of application and GWF no only!

Have you tried to confirm this on your own? I tried to access the WU in NTU portal and £3,000 pounds was equivalent to 1.6m (around 1.5375m) which is somehow equivalent to the official rate. Though I paid through form A. It can be that high if there's a hidden charge. Try it and stop assuming!

Got an offer from NTU for January and they do have WU global pay option, but someone from September intake said she paid with that method but at black market rate, cos you can only pay with dollar card, and how do you get the dollars? black market!
So it's really expensive

So a link on d portal directed me to d payments options, I clicked on Western Union, and then choose GPB and the amount which is 4000, then i received the payment instruction on my mail.
Then on d Form A portal I used all the information western union sent to me...like sort code, bank address and others.

I made my application and paid my ihs on 6th of August 2022..I didn't know of date amendment so the date I got for my bio was 14th September 2022 priority...I received a mail for additional documents for transcript, Tb certificate, And Pof, which have uploaded before but I responded to the mail same day...Today again I received Nsf mail requesting for my Proof of fund from 09-07-2022 to 06-08-2022....The statement i presented earlier was from Last month till this month 13th 09 2022...I have no fear cos my money been in my account for over 6months, Please my nairaland family have any one experience this before?

Hello everyone, I just got this conditional offer from Lincoln university now with 3 points highlighted ln the attached screenshot.

I am so much worried about point 1, all my certificates carry 05/05/1991 dob and I also have my birth certicate. Only my waec result carries 05/05/1990 and i have an affidavit from magistrate court to flag the error on my waec certificate.

I also got an unconditional offer from greenwich university with same documents and i am planning to pay their deposit, but I really want this lincoln due to cheaper tuition fee.

My real concern is this, it was stated on lincoln offer that ukvi will not accept affidavit and they will deny visa application. Even if i proceed with with greenwich since i have unconditional offer with them, I could still face same problem when applying visa.

I am just confused as to what to do now. I currently reside and work in dubai and all my certificates are with me here in dubai. My parents will be going to waec office tomorrow with scanned copies of my certificate and birth certificate to see what can be done.

Please is there any issues attaching affidavit to back up dob error during visa application? Because i feel like dropping lincoln and proceed with greenwich, but this visa concern i saw today has given me set back. I might even need to hold payment my deposit for greenwich now

I ran a check on the school website and i saw that i can as well use NECO certificate, but i have to provide a scratch card with it.
I have a NECO result too which i did in 2006, but i had D7 in Mathematics and credits in other subjects. I believe this should be fine too since they are only concerned with ENGLISH.

HAS ANYONE used Neco certificate for visa application because i have only been seeing WAEC here on NL.

I will press for waec to have my dob changed or get a letter from them. I will also try to get original certificate of my neco( if it can be used for visa application).

I will also get in touch with greenwich university to change my english proficiency evidence to neco instead of the waec they had accepted to give me unconditional offer.

Please am i safe with my analysis
