Even if you don't like people calling you an agent, the truth is that you are an agent and there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, the term "guru" has a negative connotation. I personally will never associate myself with that term in any aspect of my professional life.

A lot of people have complimented your SOP writing skills, are there any tips you can give for people who are writing their SOP?

I am very elated this is happening to this guy called @Makano. Sometimes last year I got PPR and I posted my timeline and tagged the agent that helped me, the guy has been very useful and I reached out to him via nairaland.immediately after my PPR I came out to tag him and appreciated him normal normal since it's a tradition I met here. This particular guy out of jealousy or kind of saw him as competition started dragging him and making bad comments against him both with this handle and several other fake handles he created, they accused him of using fake handle to advertise, I was really pained cos I dragged d man into that embarrassment @justwise blocked the man without proper verification and I felt like this nairaland is more or less of a carcus thing out of annoyance I deleted my profile but kept on coming here once in a while to read comments if I'm less busy in school. I am happy that nemesis has finally catch up with him they never allowed the man to even talk and was blocked without no reason, I wish @bollybeejay is still on nairaland today to see how u have been disgraced. I’m a woman o lol

Anyways I drafted my sop in such a way that I layed emphasis on the fact my family is in USA but I choose to school in Canada because I want to be independent.

I also explained how HR is a thriving career in Nigeria and Africa at large and there are always job availability and I want to use the hr knowledge to expand my business.

God just did the magic touch.

Xclusiveman:
Congratulations man!

@bepostive11 Lol… he has weak ties to Nigeria but very strong ties to the USA. Bottom line is that he’s likely to leave Canada after his program. Or what do you think?

I’ve been thinking guys.. do these emails and webforms really help? I actually think sending millions of webforms might even deter the officials from even checking mails and webforms that are truly urgent.

I’m yet to find any correlation between sending multiple random webforms and updates on applications though, unless they request information directly or the applicant sends an update that’s relevant to the process such as an updated LoA after deferral or change of program/school etc.

Anyways, congrats to those who have gotten their PPRs and prayers to those of us waiting.

You are telling the truth. When you search for bollybeejay, one of the first post is Makano criticizing bollybeejay for being an agent.

This Makano guy is very pathetic. He deserves what he's getting. He's here saying that he's not an agent -- that he's a guru. Lying to himself.

It's a business for him. He's charging for his services and marketing through testimonials. How is he not an agent?

Karma is a bitch indeed.

Where can one get something like these to buy here in Nigeria?

Jos, Plateau State is where you can get thick winter coat because their weather is cold. And it's a bit cheap there too.

Hello Trailblazer

You can apply for a Spousal permit Visa for your Wife,

and for your kids, it depends. if your child is more than 7 years, you can apply for a study permit for your child, else you apply for a Visiting Visa for him/her..

Your SIN, Study permit are major requirements for these Visa applications..

Peace

Because I really don’t want to let that 1500 cad go like that
Conestoga college will refund your deposit only if you send them prove that your study permit application was rejected , by sending them a copy of the refusal letter from IRCC. Also you need to withdraw your acceptance before resumption starts. Lastly they will deduct $200cad and refund $1300cad to the same account you used in making the $1500cad deposit. You will need to sign into your student account to ask for a refund.
I know all this because my friend got his deposit refunded less $200cad from Conestoga college after his study permit application got rejected.

Hello quinster

When your application is approved, you get a Passport request from IRCC which requires you to submit your Passport for stamping..

Now, what is stamped on your passport is the Visa which is valid for a year. This means you must leave for Canada before the expiring date of your Visa.. This Visa is what permits you to travel to Canada.

Now when you get to Canada POE, after your successful screening from the POE officers, a study permit is now issued to you that permits you to study in Canada.

Hope this was helpful..

Peace

That's interesting.

All that aside, to be honest, do you plan to come back to Nigeria after graduating? Or do you plan to stay in Canada and apply for PR then citizenship?

Hello stanmorry

Now I am gonna say this from the GCKEY Perspective,

There are different sections of upload apart from the sections of the IMM Forms.

Now, the section of Proof of funds is where you will upload the merged documents to back up your Proof of funds.. Like we all know, you are to upload a file per section. So what this means is that all the documents for POF will be merged together as 1 and then uploaded in the POF section..

Peace
stanmorry:

Proof of Means of Financial Support (required)
..
I have 3 different Statement of financial accounts I want to upload, mine and the details of my Sponsor. The problem here is that, I can only upload once. My question is, Can I combine both mine and my sponsor's details/Statement of financial accounts in one PDF file and upload? Or is there any other provision for it?

Thanks

Don't mind him, shebi they already exposed his fowl yansh, I'm even surprised to find out today that he is an agent, yet he could drag out an innocent person because he saw him as a threat. This is actually a lesson what goes around truly comes around,I am waiting for @justwise to take him out the same way he took out the guy without proper verification.

Hello Letuspray

Like I always say, there is no specific timeline when it comes to getting Final decision from IRCC for any kinda Canadian visa application. Long before now, it use to take several months to get a final decision.

But with my experience with many applicants of recent, the earliest I have seen for a SOWP final decision is 1 moth 2 weeks.. SO it depends..

IRCC ha actually calmed down with the final desicions for SOWP applications, we hope it continues..

A friend of mine got her PPR even before her background check and eligibility was approved. Sometimes I’m confused how these guys works.
If your medical is approved then have faith.

Sometimes they do all that in the background without updating the application web page. There's no way PPR can be issued without them passing eligibility and background check.

I tire too o. I believe Nairobi office should handle African applications. There’s a lady I watch her YouTube daily and Indian July applicants are already receiving PPRs in bulk.

I wonder why we still have so many May, June and a lot of July applications pending for those of us from this part of the world.

The problem is our reputation. Just recently, someone talked about how their Nigerian friends go to Canada then defer their semester and start working on a study permit to earn. It's things like that that give Nigerians a bad reputation and delay approvals.
